We are traveling with a group of 12, kids ranging in ages from 2-11. It seems like most of the excursions aren't OK for 2 year olds--any ideas on what to do at these stops with a group that involves a little one?

We went to the Turtle Centre in GC when my DD was 2yr old. It would be good for older kids too.

You can book a beach day on your own in Cozumel.

Cozumel:
Nachi Cocum ( my favorite) Very quiet and relaxed. Nice beach and pool with plenty of loungers and shade, food and all drinks (alcohol too) included. Okay off-beach snorkeling (fee if you do not have your own). No water park. About $60 per person, kids are less http://www.cozumelnachicocom.com/

Mr. Sanchos (my second favorite) Fun and active. Nice beach and pool area, not as shady near the beach as Nachi Cocum. Food and all drinks included. Ocean floating park for an additional $12 per person. Add-ons like jet skis, parasailing and horseback riding are available. Okay off-beach snorkeling (fee if you do not have your own) About $55 per person, kids are less.http://www.mrsanchos.com/

Playa Mia (excellent reviews from friends) Fun and active, not as shady near beach as Nachi Cocum. Food and all drinks included. Pools, fresh-water water park and slides and an ocean floating park included. Also, non-motorized boats like kayaks and water bikes. Add-ons like jet skis and parasailing. Okay off-beach snorkeling (fee if you do not have your own) About $60 person, including all the kids. https://www.playamia.com/

For Grand Cayman, you could do a beach day at Royal Palms. They have food and restroom facilities.

I have been two diff times when I had a 2 year old...once my son and once my daughter.

Cozumel: Nachi Cocum
Falmouth: ship day and maybe port shopping
Cayman: semi submarine, shopping, taxi to turtle farm.

In Falmouth we did Dunns river falls and saw people with little ones. They have a splash pad and a beach.

I struggled with this before our trip. I personally was not okay with my 3 year old in a taxi without a carseat so limited a lot of things.

In cozumel we did the ruins, chocolate, and beach break. Us adults enjoyed the ruins. We may have enjoyed the chocolate tour more except the kiddo tried the chocolate and upchucked because she didnt like it so missed half of that tour. The beach break was at playa mia and was fun but wish we would have had more time. They have a nice splash play area the little one would like and also the beach.

In grand caymans we did the semisub tour. Kiddo liked watching the fishes. Was about an hour so she started getting squirmy toward the end.

Falmouth we did the good hope estate. This was our favorite and the cheapest! We enjoyed the house tour but we love old houses. Kiddo enjoyed the bird aviary and rabbits. They just built a new pool and falls which was lovely and enjoyable.

Do all 12 people need to stay together? You could do an active day for anyone who wants it and a beach day for the toddler and the rest.

Grand Cayman:

I think the turtle farm would be a great option for all ages! We spent a good amount of time there just walking around and getting in the tanks with turtles. They have sections that you can just walk around in like a museum exhibit/aquarium. But they also have sections where you can get fully submerged, like lagoons, animal encounters, snorkeling, etc. There really is something for everyone.

For Grand Cayman, you could do a beach day at Royal Palms. They have food and restroom facilities.

I just booked a 5 night Western with a stop in GC. I was there in 2010 our family and we did some snorkeling. This time I am interested in 7 mile Beach. I was there for my honeymoon 30 years ago. Anyway, I have been doing some research and somewhere I saw a post that said Royal Palms was closing soon. FYI!
