Should we have received excursion info via mail from DCL when booking on points with DVC? We sail September 22nd and have yet to receive anything. I guess we will just use the website and phone the excursion desk with our order.

When we cruised in June with our points received the excursion information about 65 days prior to the cruise. You can only book 60 days out so we had it in time.

When we went last December with points we did not get anything until our documents arrived about 30 days out. If you are concerned about booking ahead you may want to use the website or call. Although they may have changed this in the past year and will send things out early now as people seem to be booking in advance a lot more. We just did it on the ship.

We got our excursion packet more than 65 days prior. I had to mark on the calendar when I could call for the excursions that we wanted.

We are sailing on 9/28 - on Points and we received our excursion book yesterday 7/18!

If we go on the DCL site and email them with our requests, then decide later that we dont want to do a particular excurison that we previously requested can we cancel it out without being chanrged a pentaly. Assuming it is still a week or so before the cruise?

Yes, you can change or cancel your excursion reservations as long as you're more than 7 days out from your cruise date. After that, they are non-refundable (unless the excursion is cancelled).

I never received any excursion information. Paid the balance right at the 60 day mark. Who is to blame for me not receiving these - DCL or my travel agent? Does this information come directly from DCL? If it was supposed to be forwarded to me from my travel agent, this doesn't bode well for us getting our cruise documents early. I know others on my cruise and the week after are starting to get their documents.

Thank goodness I knew enough from these boards to call at 60 days out or my son would have missed out on parasailing at CC. (I had already booked Captain Marvin's on my own). I was happy to see that when I gave the DCL excursion person my reservation number on the phone that she saw us listed there!
