excitement in my cleaning

So today I did some major cleaning in the house. Threw out a ton deep clean kind of day.

In that cleaning I found a $20 coupon (with no minimum purchace) from Banana Republic. Then I knew I had rewards that were still valid from Old Navy and Banana Republic...total in coupons and rewards I had was $35!

The $20 one was set to expire on the 30th, so I went online to spend only what I had in gift rewards. Banana Republic had things on sale, and 30% off additional. I realized the gift coupons I had would not be able to be used on shipping...so I had to have a minimum purchase of $50 (shipping is $7). So...I got $63 in product for $9 after coupons and rewards dollars!!!

I was psyched! So keep an eye out when you do your deep cleans...you never know what you might find!

I recently had something like that at Coldwater Creek. I got a catalog in the mail with a "$25 off any purchase" coupon and decided to use it and not spend any cash! I looked around and around the store and ended up with a clearance scarf that worked out to about $18 and a small ceramic berry basket (odd thing from CWC, I know, but it was cute and the right price!). My total came to about $23 and the woman was careful to let me know that I was going to have to "sacrifice" the last $2 of the coupon. I asked her if there was anything in the store for $2 and of course there wasn't, so I let it go. The scarf is lovely (and I will share it with DD) and the basket is cute and is the same color orange as pieces of my Fiestaware, so I will display it. Gotta love FREE!................P
