excited-picked 09 dates

Had to share with those who will understand ...We have been having trouble picking dates next year as my oldest dd is graduating...she just told me may would be the best month for her to miss a little school (only one course that will take extra work to stay caught up)...so yah...we will be heading to DL from may 9-may 19th...so 10 nights and all my kids miss is 5 school days!!! The bestest thing is we will be there for my dd's 18th AND my 40th ...Anyways, just had to share...now to start planning...

Growing up i went to DL 8 times before i was 13 and didnt return for way too long...
DEC 04-DW for 9 nights at the pop
MAY 06-DL for 10 nights at the candy cane inn
SEPT 07-DL for 10 nights at the hojo

NEXT TRIP MAY 9 2009-MAY 19th 2009....celebrating dd's 18th and my 40th and dd's graduation

yay! i'm sure you all will have tons of fun! have fun planning! i'm waiting until AFTER our october trip to pick out dates for our 2009 trip (which i'm hoping we'll be able to do...to celebrate dd's 3rd bday).

Congrats to you!! We booked our 2009 dates about a month ago, and are going right after you. We check in on May 26, I think. Maybe its the 27. I forgot already. Whatever is the Tuesday after Memorial Day is our check in day.

sorry...kind of a thread hijack...so for those of you booking for may of next year already, are you going through a travel agent? disneyland.com? AAA? some kind of vacation package? just wondering how you folks are doing it? i'd like to start planning for our end of april/early may 2009 vacation, but not sure where to start looking for deals since it's still a bit aways...

hi there, as for booking, i have not booked yet...just chosen my dates, which sadly, i have already had to change... ...i completely forgot that my mil has booked their 50th, and it falls right in the middle of our trip, actually right on my 40th , but we will still be there for my dd's 18th... ...oh well, gotta go to the party, so now, we will bump our trip to early may, i believe the 2nd to the 12th...means the kids will miss 1 extra day of school, but they say it's ok...i looked at pricing, but being so early i was shocked at "high" airfare was for then ...i will wait and watch, but at least i have our dates..i am really hoping for a disney cruse package to come out near our dates....good luck in planning and the countdown starts
