Exchanging park hoppers for Florida resident AP.

I hear that I am able to exchange our 5 day hoppers purchased at regular price (with free dining) for annual passes. We are Florida residents. Our hopper cost $470 the Florida "silver pass" is $440.

This is the ideal pass for us, since we do not visit in June or July. Can I do a ticket bridge with this? what happens to the credit?

Thanks, but I do not see anything about
*exchanging regular tickets for Florida AP
* Free Dining packages
* credit due to me instead of paying for the upgrade.

If the current value of the ticket from which you want to upgrade is higher than the full price of the AP,
"officially," you would not be able to do an upgrade.
(If an exception is made, "officially," you will not receive a refund of the difference price.)

That addresses the question of a refund. And seems to say “maybe” as an answer to if you CAN upgrade.

"Officially," that can be true.
And be prepared for that.

But, it never hurts to "ask nicely" for what you'd prefer.
It can sometimes be that the ticket CM might have a pocketful of Pixie Dust for the guest in question.

Your anniversary date would be the date of first use. If you are using the hopper over the summer, that cannot be a Silver Pass anniversary date. I do believe they will make you actually "upgrade", since that's essentially what you're asking to do, to Gold
