Exchanging CS for Snack credits??

We are booking our final restaurants for our Sept/Oct trip, and as we are going to US over 3 days we seem to have an abundance of CS left over. I know in previous years it usually works itself out.

We are again going to go to World Showcase 1 night, and sample a lot of dishes from different countries, last year we used up a lot of snack credits on this night. So I was wondering can you exchange CS for snacks??

We had a couple of CS meals left over on our last morning, but no snack credits. We creatively ordered yougurt parfaits as a CS meal at the Beach Club Marketplace, without the drinks (we were entitled to 2), and they let us use the CS credit for that. If the snack you are craving is a dessert, you could check to see if the location will allow you to order a CS meal, hold the meal and maybe drinks, but still get the dessert.

I don't think you can trade credits per se, but you might be able to trade down from CS to snacks at a 1:1 basis.

However, I've heard quite a few reports of being able to use a CS credit to get several (~3) snacks at one time.

All the reports I've seen of people being allowed to trade CS for some snacks occurred at resort counter service, which always seems to be more flexible than in the parks.

I have seen one report of someone using a CS credit to get 3 samples at a festival booth. That report dated back to 2006. I have not seen anyone else report that they were able to do this at the food/wine booths. I wouldn't count on it. If it's permitted you would likely have to spend one CS credit per booth, not split it up between different booths. Trading CS for snacks is usually permitted at resort food courts but there are spotty records from the parks.

If you're set on using them at food/wine you could ask your resort concierge if the CS credits can be converted to snack credits but I don't know if you should count on being allowed to do it, nor do I think there is any official rule about how many snack credits you could get for a CS credit.
