~~~Exchangers Meet!! cancelled :-(
Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?
I did! We celebrated my niece's First Communion & my dad's 85th Birthday last Saturday. It was a beautiful day & we had a good time.
Here's a picture of the whole crew that were there. My younger brother's wife & 6 kids stayed home.
What a nice day it was for your celebration! You've a good looking family!
We did go to the Parrots of the Caribbean concert and it was fun. The rainy weather didn't come, and it was a clear night for fun and music.
Great pictures Missy. Thanks fo sharing.
The weather looks gorgeous!! Not so here....we are still cool and rainy.
But.....1 week until AZ....and then hot!!
Glad the concert was good, Bobbi and the weather cooperated.
I am busy packing DH up for a trip.....so hard to get everything in one suitcase :rolleyes:
Memorial Day weekend is starting.
anyone have any plans for the long weekend?
I am taking DH to the airport this morning. He is off on a 2 week long business trip....so my weekend will be alone and boring.
We are sitting at 48 degrees this morning and raining.
What are your plans for the holiday weekend? No plans for us just planning to take it easy and start opening our pool for the summer season.
Not sure yet, but I may not make this meet. DH is still considering May for next year.
Nancy, we were thinking the same thing, and you made your post a second before mine this morning.
Awww.....Heidi, hope you can make it, but if not May is good too. I'm going then too, hopefully, so if that happens, maybe our dates will overlap.
:rotfl: Jean.
It is freezing here. I am trying so hard not to turn the heat back on. It should NOT have to be on in May!! :(
I need to get to Wed. and then off to AZ....where it is plenty warm :rotfl:
Today's our 42nd anniversary, and DH is in TX for work. BUT...we were on a RCCL 3 night cruise. It went to Nassau and their private island, Coco Cay! I know 3 nights isn't much, but it's what we could squeeze in, my school is still in session, and DH is out of vacation time.
I love to snorkel, and in Nassau, off a boat, it was FABULOUS! I've been to the same area in March and November, and May was so much better. More fish(OK, one was a sand shark, about 2-3 ft long. It just minded its own business, but it was disconcerning every so often to see this sleek grey thing swim by!) and the water was much clearer. That we did together, but in Coco Cay, I just snorkeled from the beach, DH wanted to stay on shore and relax. It was a perfect day.
I hope everyone's weekend was as much fun as ours was.
We decided to do the same cruise, same time, in 2 years. Anyone interested?:goodvibes
Not......:(
We thought we had someone interested......they looked two times. Asked the agent about a lot of community things. Wanted to do a preinspection....and then we never heard from them.
The showings have died down again......we are having terrible weather, so that might be affecting it.
We are taking it off the market July 31 and just waiting for a couple of years to try again.
:grouphug: Selling our house in PA ws the most stressful thing we've ever done. Aside from the house not selling, I really didn't want to move to Ohio.
Jean, thanks for the best wishes. We really had a great anniversary celebration. Our table neighbors on the cruise informed the wait staff and they made a fuss over us. It was fun!
We'll survive ;)
We will just have a big vacation house for a few years :rotfl:
We don't want to wait to move to AZ.
DH will be working up here a week every month, so he will stay here. The company will love that, no hotel bill ;)
We had an anniversary on a cruise once, it was fun.
Just bumping up......guess we don't have a lot to say this far out.
This summer will be some polls to see what people are interested in doing.....and then people can volunteer for arranging things :teeth:
I was away from the computer for a week, relaxing next to the pool in beautiful Cancun, so did I miss anything?
Nope...nothing here.
Hope you had a great time, Jean.
I get to fly my kitty to AZ in a couple of weeks :eek: Not looking forward to that at all!!
