Your's are the same as mine Patsy. But I can add mopping to the list, as well as separating meat. I buy it in bulk sometimes and then place amounts in smaller bags for meals. Also cutting up watermelon and cantalope. I don't hate to do any of the above but they are not my favorite things to do in the kitchen. That would be eating!
I was making lunches this morning and the cat was meowing like she "killed" something. It's usually her toys, as she doesn't go outside. She's in the dining room and up on the wall is this HUGE house centipede! I tried to kill it, but it dropped off the wall....and I couldn't find it! It's loose in my house......this will keep me up tonight.
So, normally, no...but at least one has found it's way in with all the cool weather we're having. I hope he doesn't have friends. UGH
This pass Spring with all the rain brought ants into the house. We had a professional come in and spray. The money was well worth it, to have a professional spraying, because my DH and I did everything and they kept coming back.
Plus, now that we're heading into the cooler weather I'm sure mice will fine there way into the house. I loss count last year with all the mice that made it into the mouse traps. That's when I wish we had a cat, but my DH is allergy to cats.
Mosquitos were the biggest problem this year. They hovered around our doors just begging to come in. In years past, we've been on the migration trail (or at least it has seemed like it) for centipedes. Haven't seen to many spiders in the house. We usually have a few wolf spiders and assorted other small ones. Ants come in but usually die on the window sill. We've had a cricket or two lately.
