I like Halloween because it is fun and much less stressful than the other holidays at the end of the year.
But I love the decorations and shows in the parks. Can't beat the castle dream lights at MK and the Osbourne Dancing Lights at the Studio.
Main St looks rather bare when the swags are down in January.
Plus LOVE the cooler weather!

I'm looking forward to Christmas. We are going to San Antonio to celebrate it with Joe's side of the family. All the siblings take turns hosting it. It's our turn in two years. I'll be with my side on Christmas Eve.

I was just thinking the other day -- remember when spinach salad with hot bacon dressing was all the rage? I really liked that and have not seen (or eaten) it in years.
My favorite salad dressing is the Sweet n Sour from Das Essenhaus in Middlebury, IN. Think I may have to order some.... If I could only get a few of their pies too --- Raspberry Cream and German Chocolate...

I like ranch dressing the best. My favorite salad is a taco salad with a garden salad with chicken strips a close second.
