My daughter goes back to school next week, and August is the month of my son, and sisters birthdays.

Wow! They start back early. Ours start late this year, not til Aug 31st. We're headed to OH to see niece/nephew and family next week. Usually we head to the beach at Outer Banks or Bethany Beach, but probably not this year with a kid in a cast.

How do you like to display pictures in your house?
I have little frames with pics on tables. I have my parent's and grandparent's wedding pics on the hall wall.

I do like to display pictures and I have pictures all over my house!! They are on tables, nightstands, desk and walls!!:laughing: There are Disney pics in Disney frames, baby pics, wedding pics, school pics, dance pics in dance frames, vacation pics, family frames with multiple pics...... can you tell I love pictures!?!:rotfl: I have them everywhere and everyone of them is a wonderful memory!!

I have a digital photo frame that cycles though about 200 pictures, then I have a few stand up pictures in frames dotted around the house.

I have built in shelves on both sides of my fireplace that are full of pictures.

Most are in photo albums, but I have a few in frames around my living room, including a puzzle that my mom did for me... Cinderella's Grand Arrival.

I also have our 2006 and 2009 trip photos on my computer, and backed up on CD. The 2009 photos are also my screen saver.

So my daughter just came back from the movie, and is telling me about it...but it is taking her so long to tell me what happened.

So today's QOTD is-
Do you summarize something with short, and important details/getting straight to the point, or make a short story long and say every little thing that happened?

Short, I've learned over the years. On the other hand, Carol tells the long version.

I have tried doing short and to the point, but I have found I always leave out an important part.

I'm Back! Our computer did a major crash on Monday, so we took it to a friend of ours who's computer savy:eek::eek::eek:. He managed to recover all data, and fix it. So I have a bad case of DIS withdrawl. For what I'm up to in Aug...moving. Still trying to get the painting completed before I can start to move in boxes. DH keeps wanting me to paint more areas of the house. I usually keep the family pics on the mantle in the living room. I tend to be short and fairly to the point, but my DS6 likes to argue the point into the ground. DH is currently flattened by a particularly nasty flu bug, but me and the kids have managed to avoid getting it. Have a great day everyone!

Welcome back. Hope your husband gets over the flu soon.

Actually it wasn't until a few years ago that I started eating chicken on a regular bases, and I still prefer no chicken but John likes it.
I either bake it and serve gravy (I don't do gravy so plain baked for me) over it, or I shake and bake it.

I love chicken in a BBQ sauce. Or my husband makes a really nice chicken wrappen in parma ham and basil.

I love fried chicken (don't eat that much anymore) & chicken parm the best, but I'll eat chicken just about anyway. I really love it!

I love chicken, could eat it everyday. Well, almost every day. My most favorite is chicken baked in Cheese Nip cracker crumbs.

Chicken is a favorite here. Soooo much we can do with it.
I have at least 100 recipes with chicken from casseroles, crock pot, soups, baked, stir-fry, salads, grilled.
Love it most ways.

Lots of chicken here too! I think I like lemon chicken best. Chicken Parm would be 2nd
