Do you have a nickname?

Yes--it's Missy! (I'm sure you're shocked!) I was named after my mom, so when I was born, people asked my dad what they should call me. Since I was a small baby, he said I was a "young miss", and they should call me Missy. Missy is not a usual nickname for my full name, so I usually get funny looks when I tell people what my nickname is. Or people tell me they know a dog named Missy!

and now I have a nickname for my nickname. When my nephew Jake was little, he called me "Miss", and now the nieces & nephews who are younger than him call me "Aunt Miss". I love it.

My name is Patricia, but everyone calls me Trish. My dad started calling me this from a very young age, and it kind of stuck. The only people that call me by my full name are strangers. Thanks for the offer of the order of Mrs. Butterworths dzee! I'm seriously considering painting my craft room either Tinkerbell green, or Alien Green (the DIS colour). Hubby thinks I'm insane from turning the new house into Kermit the Frog. The craftroom has dark paneling along the bottom part of 2 walls, and want something to brighten it up, especially as it's currently Royal Blue. Have a great day everyone!

Celebration is a fun song. When we were at DCA they played it during the parade, and my husband's SIL, and my daughter was picked to dance with them, so it brings back memories as well.
