I'm boring, I'm not a fan of painted houses although to be fair over here most houses are stone or harled anyway so it's not really an option.
Gee,.....we need to have a DIS exchangers meet there and all go do it!!
What fun that would be!!![]()
If you were to come to Hawaii, what three things would you like to do first?
How long have you been married for?
For those of you who are not married....If you were to get married, where would you like to have your honeymoon at?
Sarah I like stone houses. Even though I said blue our house is not painted it has siding.
What are you top five favorite desserts?
My top five desserts are -
raspberry cheesecake (or anything raspberry really!)
knickerbocker glory
trifle
apple pie and ice cream
chocolate cake

From wikipedia - A knickerbocker glory is a very elaborate ice cream sundae that is served in a large tall glass, particularly in the United Kingdom. In the United States, the closest equivalent would be a parfait.
The knickerbocker glory was first described in the 1930s and contains ice cream, jelly, fruit and cream. Layers of these different sweet tastes are alternated in a tall glass and are topped with different kinds of syrup, nuts, whipped cream and often a cherry. Layers of meringue, fruit and even alcohol may be included but, as with an ice cream sundae, there is no precise recipe.
The name knickerbocker glory is drawn from knickerbockers, a type of long trouser traditionally worn by young children (but particularly young boys). Glory reflects the typical reaction of a child presented with such a dessert.
