What type of chicken dishes are your favorites?

I like store bought marinated cooked chicken pieces that we put in quesadillas. We mainly use Quorn now where we would have used chicken. We do all kinds of things with it but our favourite at the moment is Quorn enchiladas.

I hate being asked for directions because I always get it wrong. Nobody asks me to get things down of of shelves as I'm a shortie.

My last random act of kindness would be letting my DH have an unexpected long lie yesterday as he is off on holiday. I got the kids up, did the school run, walked the dog and was back just n time to make him a cup of tea.

What is Quorn?

Some days, it seems like everywhere I go, strangers talk to me and on other days, I don't even get a smile.

My last random act of kindness, hmmmm, can't remember though I'm sure I've done something.

People have been know to ask me for directions....but usually when we are out of town, so I am no help.
People have not asked me to get things off shelves, but I have offered too.

Random act......we gave away about 25 pairs of earrings on our Disney trip. That is always a lot of fun.

What is Quorn?

Quorn is a healthy meat alternative and made from fungus. It comes in lots of different forms eg pieces, minced, meatballs etc It is low in fat, high in fibre and has no cholesterol. We are not a vegetarian family but do love our Quorn dishes.

I'm short so I'm always the one asking the tallest person around at the store to reach something for me on the top shelf. I just never seem to get asked to help anyone else!

Last random act of kindness was holding the door open at stores for other customers when the temperature was about -10. I especially like to hold it open for women with small children in tow or for young men whose expressions are priceless. They don't know how to react to a not-so-young lady holding the door for them.

Oh, and directions? Yes, I get asked a lot at the hospital gift shops where I volunteer mostly about where the vending machines are, where the cafeteria is, and where the newspaper boxes are. I also tend to get asked where places are when we're on vacation in a strange city. I admit right up front that I'm as as they are or maybe more so!

I do not get asked directions, but strangers will talk to me out of the blue. I am not a person to talk to a total stranger so I am polite to them but try to get away quickly.

I am the short one asking for something on the top shelf, but only if after reaching real hard and I still can't reach.
(see above, I don't like asking a stranger to help.)


Random acts of kindness recently: I had clothes and shoes that have not been worn or only worn once (and they won't be worn) I gave them to a friend of my sisters, as she knows people who can use them.

Ummm, let's just say you have to forget about the fungal bit and go for the health (and techincally it is a mould) Am I selling it any better?

What are your favorite canned food items? Ex. Pork and Beans, Ravioli, soup....?

Not a big fan of canned goods, but use tomato sauce, black beans, olives a lot.

I use canned vegetables like corn, green beans, etc. Also, Campbells Healthy Request soups in cooking. Not a fan of canned meat of any kind except for tuna.

We used things like canned mixed beans, sweetcorn, some soups.

Not a fan of canned items, but will eat baked beans, tuna fish, soup (Progresso) and pizza sauce once in awhile.

Have you been shopping alot or like to buy a certain type of item? What is your addiction that you are constantly buying? Ex. pens, craft items, shoes, purses....?

Nothing here. I do have a lot of paper towels but that's only because they went on sale and I had coupons.

I love shopping, but always out for a good deal.
I do have a lot of paper.....scrapbooking Stickers, pens.
I do a lot of shopping at Costco, so always seem to have a lot of things that come in big bulk packages.
Also been stocking up on forever stamps before postage goes up again.

I tend to be a hoarder! I have way to many craft supplies...and just don't have time anymore! And cookie cutters...but I at least use those.
