I was going to say Parent Trap, too! I love the older movies. DH laughs at me because if I find it on TV I watch it every time. Mary Poppins is up there, too, for me.

Wow....

Ummm....

OK Favorite animated is Alice in Wonderland
Favorite Live Action has to be Bed Knobs and Broom Sticks
and
Favorite Pixar is Cars...

How did you find this site?
Just wandering through internet sites about WDW and found this one after our second trip to Disney World. I sure could have used it to plan our first two trips but I didn't have internet access then.

What is your most favorite Disney movie, and why?
It's a tie between The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast for animated movies. They both make me feel good inside. Cinderella comes in a close second. Both Parent Traps are my favs for live action. I love all the Disney movies!

My favourite animated move is Wall-e. Went to see it a couple of days ago with the family, and all of us loved it. In second place is Cars.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

What are your plans for today? Growing up, did you do anything special on Fourth of July that really stands out?

Hope everyone has a great 4th. We leave tomorrow morning at 4am for a 6:30 flight to Aruba for a week. I won't be on the internet for a week so I'll talk to everyone when I return. Have a wonderful week.

We are having a planning party tonight for our trip in 2010 (we will be there for July 4th!) and have ordered in some American treats like grape soda and Cornbread mix. Sadly no fireworks over here but it's still going to be good fun!

Hope everyone else has a fab day!

Sounds like one GREAT party!! I wish I could be there....:goodvibes

As for my plans, I am still not sure. With DH gone still, I don't feel festive. But, I hope to talk to him today so YEA!:cool1:

Might go out to Disneyland, but it will be BUSY! :scared1:

My mom's b-day was yesyerday, so my 4ths growing up were all about her! We usually went out wherever she wanted for dinner and find some place to watch some fireworks. As she and my dad got in poorer health they usually just watched fireworks at home. They go back and forth from program to program.popcorn:: She always did like the fireworks every year. She used to tell me that for many years when she was a kid she thought they were all setting off fireworks just for her birthday! :woohoo:

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYBODY!!pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Happy 4th of July!!!

When we moved to Rockwall to live out in the "country", we had a big family party every year and shot fireworks. As the kids have gotten older, the family parties have been hit or miss and now that we are annexed, no more shooting fireworks for us. :sad2: This morning Carol marched in her last 4th of July parade with the band. This next year will be a season of last times since she is now officially a senior. As for the rest of the day, I'm not sure what we will do. We're not hosting a family party this year since my family room is full of stuff to take to Lubbock when we move James there next weekend. We may go buy a truck for Joe today if the price is right. We've been invited to a party tonight but I'm not sure if we will go or not. It's one of those last minute decision type of things.

My only memory of the 4th when I was a kid was lighting up sparklers at my grandma's house.

Hi everyone!! DH works today so we'll just be kicking back at home all day. Then tonight we'll go and watch the fireworks on the Strip.

Growing up, hmmm, we never really did anything that stands out. It was always different. We didn't have one place we traditionally went every 4th. I do remember when DH and I were dating, we went to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena several times.

Anyway, I hope you all have a safe and fun holiday!!

Top five?

I don't know. I can tell you my top one....Target. LOL I love that store. Other then that, I shop all over. I don't really have any other favorites.

My 5 favourite stores are: Costco, Saveon Foods, Dollar Smart (a dollar store that I'm loyal to as they have alot of things I use on a regular basis really cheap), and Galloways for my speciality baking supplies. Otherwise I shop close to where I live, and follow the sales.

Hmmm, five favorite places to shop? Well, I don't know if they are my favorites but the five stores I frequent the most are Krogers, Kohls, Target, Wal Greens and JC Penneys. I also like to shop at Belks and Bealls. It really all depends on what I'm looking for. Kirklands is a store that I like to window shop in.

If you were to visit any other amusement park that is not Disney related, which would you pick, and why?

I would like to go to Universal Studios and Island of Adventure? in Orlando because I haven't been to those particular ones before. I've been to Six Flags here, Sea World and Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Astro World in Houston (it's gone now) and Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia.
