What do you, and your family eat for Christmas dinner?

Shayla had fun putting together a few of the different foam crafts, thank you. We had a long day today. Both Brandon, and Shayla had gone to the doctors, and they both have a sinus, and ear infection. It looks like she will be home from school tomorrow as well.
I will be putting on the Peanuts Christmas video for them, and see what other Christmas activities they want to do .

Awwww, I am glad that she enjoyed the crafts. Hopefully today is better for both of them...and you too!!

I am bummed that we did not get to watch many Christmas movies this year. We have so much to do still so I don't know what we will be able to fit in this weekend.

What do you, and your family eat for Christmas dinner?

Last year we had a prime rib roast that we ordered from QVC that was amazing. I ordered the same for this year. I make roasted potatoes, asparagus and candied carrots.

What do you, and your family eat for Christmas dinner?

At my parent's house, we usually have ham and all the fixins' that go with it. On the Lambe side of the family, you just never know from year to year. It is usually pot luck with a theme. This year's gathering is in Chicago and we are eating out at an Italian restaurant.

We usually have the dinner on Christmas Eve, as we have found it to be alot easier than on Christmas Day. We usually have the traditional turkey dinner, with Dave's mom's rice and sausage dressing. I try to make it, but it's one of those things where it always turns out different every time. We also have apple and pumpkin pies for desert (hubby doesn't like pumpkin pie, but I do, so I make both for the family). We have leftovers Christmas day, and find it alot easier all around to have the dinner the day before.

Carol currently wants a fish so I would buy her a couple of neons and a fish bowl to put them in.

If I had a lot of money I would make the present for the cats and kittens that are hoping to be adopted and buy them some Pounce treats and catnip toys. Last Saturday we were in PetSmart and it broke my heart.

Ham, perogies, green beans, rolls. My family is back in Pgh, so it's just us for Xmas...and usually our neighbor. (He's a good friend, but we say he's the little brother we didn't want!)

If you were to go into a pet store right now to buy a present for someone, what would you choose?

The most forlorn kittens and puppies. I would give the kitten to my friend who 's looking to adopt one, and the puppy to my dad.

Hannah is 4 yrs old and was diagnosed in late October 2008 with a rare and aggressive cancerous brain tumor called glioblastoma multiforme.

A relative sent around an email asking for people to send her cards. Since she's in bed, opening the cards is something she can do.

Maybe some DISers would be willing to add her to their xmas card list this year?

0 We are driving towards Family in Orlando. Tonight we are outside of Dallas. Tomorrow night we will be in Biloxi, and the next night ORLANDO!!!

Carol works for two more days at the now liquidating Linens N Things. She did her shopping there and gave me a number of Yankee Candles. James bought me a George Foreman grill. And Joe (DH) gave me a nice fleece jacket and two shirts of a brand I like at Bealls.

Where? We live just east of Dallas. You know that if you get up really early, you could make it to Jacksonville, Florida from here in one day. I wouldn't mind heading to Florida. We're heading north to Chicago in three days. Brrrrrr!!!!!
