Top three-what three things would you not like to recieve for Christmas? And what three things would you like to recieve?

Not like to receive - No more jackets, no more cute socks, no more floral scented soaps
What I would like - Gift cards (take up no space :thumbsup2 ), a night out with a sitter for the kids, something my kids made themselves

If you were sleeping, and were awaken by a loud noise, what would you consider to be the most annoying sound?

CAR ALARMS!!! There is a family down the street whose car alarms keeps going off and it cycles about 4 or 5 times before they turn it off. Very annoying.

Altho he hasn't done this in awhile, Jake used to have frequent nightmares and wake up screaming. That used to scare the pants (jammies!) off me!:scared1:

Hi everyone, I had just gotten back from a trip tonight, and we had a bad storm before we left, so we didn't have electricity :(.

But, here is todays QOTD-
Do you leave out any special treats for Santa? Or, did you as you were growing up?

Cookies and Milk as a child. And now that I think about it, they were always my Dad's favorite cookies. :rotfl2:

We have spent every Christmas eve since my eldest was born at my ILs and they don't leave anything out for Santa. Not sure why, it just never happened and boys don't believe anymore.

We leave cookies and milk out for Santa and a carrot for his reindeer. My boys are all older now 16, 17 and 19 and we still leave cookies out for Santa, it's one of our Christmas Eve traditions. Of course it has to be one of Santa's favorite cookes.

We leave cookies and milk out too. Also we write Santa a thank you note to put with it.

Kimba

We left cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Our DS's did that too.
I don't know if the DGC carry on that tradition, I'll have to ask.

Bobbi:santa:

We leave out cookies and milk and carrots.
Did as a child, we still do also....part of our Christmas tradition. My kids are 28 and 25 :rotfl: They will always do it.

We left cookies and milk out when the kids were little. One year we left hay out on the front lawn for the reindeer. The kids brought it home in a sack from school.

We're getting pounded with rain here (at least it has warmed up)
Lots of flooding. I will find out if our river flooded when I venture out tomorrow....here's hoping all is good there. Mostly it is south and west of here.
:umbrella:

So baking gingerbread cookies today and burning a ginger spice cookie Yankee candle.

When I was little we left cookies and milk for Santa, but as I got older I don't remember my parents doing it anymore.

I still leave cookies and milk for Santa even though my kids are older - one a teenager the other out on her own. When they were little we used to make a mix of oatmeal and a little glitter and sprinkle it on the lawn for the reindeer. (The glitter helped them find it)

How do your gingerbread men turn out? I love to eat them. I am going to attempt them this weekend. My last attempts in previous years were less than stellar! :rotfl:

Pretty good. I made the dough on Friday. Finally got a chance to make them.
I gave them chocolate chip decorations ;)

This is the first year where all three boys know about Santa. :sad2: They always left cookies and milk, and then something for the reindeer...usually carrots! One year I convinced them to leave a beer, too. (I'm usually up on Christmas eve wrapping everything!)
