least favorite, anything that got contaminated by the pear juice
:rotfl:

favorite - in elementary school, the rolls! They were to die for! I don't remember Jr. High but in High school it was the chicken fried steak with gravy.

least favorite - in all grades, the goolash! :scared1:

If you knew that you only had one day to live, were able to do just one more activity with just one other person, who would you pick, and what would you do?

Reminds me of a psych class I took in college where we each had to write our own obit. ;) I was struck by lightening while standing on Mt Baldy at the Indiana Dunes. :lmao:

I am going to be at the P&PP this weekend. :cool1: I guess I could spend the day/evening there with DH and friends and keel over later. :rotfl:

Spend the day with immediate family somewhere with a really nice, scenic view.

What was your most favorite, and least favorite school lunch item?

favorite - I purchased lunch every time they had pizza.

least favorite - when my mom made tuna sandwiches, my bread would always be wet from the tuna.

I would spend the day with my husband and kids at one of our favorite places. Either at the beach in the Caribbean or at Yosemite in California.

Say if you had a younger age child who was being picked on, what would you do about it?

I would either try to contact the child's parents, teacher, or principal at the school in order to try to solve the problem.

My husband tried to teach our boys how to take care of themselves in these type of situations. I agreed as long as they didn't start the problem.

Well, there is always the home computer schooling option if talking to the teacher, principle and/or parents didn't help.

I think the main thing is for my child to know I am on HIS side and will do whatever I need to make it better for him. He can learn to defend himself against bullies when he is older. He shouldn't have to do it now. This is not a life lesson he needs to learn.

Find out all the details, i.e. when and where it's happening, what is exactly going on. Then go from there up the chain of command if it's at school. If it's happening at home (playing with friends in the neighborhood), I'd have a talk with the bully's parents. Or, if it's happening while participating in an extracurricular activity, have a talk with the teacher/coach first and go from there.

Hello All!! Just wanted to pop into tell everyone to remember to ALWAYS back up your pictures and files. My hard drive crashed a few days ago and I lost everything!! All my pictures!! Luckily I had just printed out my most recent Disney trip pictures. But they were so many more that I figured "I'll print later":guilty:
I also lost all my recipes I had saved..that really bums me out!!

I still don't have my computer up and running, I'm using the kid's computer.

Anyway back up those files!! I'll check back in when I can!!

There are places that can recover files from a disk crash. The information is still on the drive, but the registry does not know how to find it. Before you do anything see if there is a person in your area that can recover your lost photos.

Thanks, Unfortunately I tried that. I took it to Geek Squad. The standard extraction wouldn't work. The next step up would cost me $500 and the step after that $1200. As much as I miss my pictures I just can't do that. I do have the old hard drive so if I come across a cheaper place I can send it.
Thank goodness for my myspace page. I do have quite a few on that.
