My favorite TV reality is Ghost Hunters!
I also like to watch any of the shows with chefs, like Gordon Ramsey's shows (UK and US), The Next Iron Chef, The Next Food NEtwork Star, Dinner Impossible, etc.
Another UK show I like to watch is How Clean Is Your House. And I like Clean House, etc.
Not that I chase ghosts, like to clean or cook!

Not really issues....yet Just a little wind. That just happens sometimes when you live in the boonies Much better than last years 4 days with no heat and 32 degrees outside

I like a lot of the reality shows. In fact, you could call me a reality show-a holic! My favorite is probably Amazing Race. But Survivor and Dancing with the Stars run a close second. I also keep up with Big Brother, Beauty and the Geek, Next Top Model, American Idol and the Batchelor. But I don't have to watch them, I do when I can.

Since football season is now here....if you were to host a football game party, what type of snacks would you have for your guests?

Not real big on football.
But if we were having a party in the wintertime, a big crock pot of chili is in order.
Everything else would be finger type food that doesn't require much thought on how to eat it as they wouldn't be paying attention to the food, but the game.

I love football!!! I would host a NY Giants' party with a football field cake.

Let's see,for 11/13 QOTD if I had to host a football party I would probably make a crockpot of chili,get a few stromboli's,chips ,dips,and my favorite buffalo chicken dip,YUMMY.My favorite pre packaged snack foods are Strawberry Twizzlers,baked lays potato chips and M&M's.Here is a recipe I will share with everyone


Pizza Casserole
1-1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 onion chopped
12 oz pkg rigatoni pasta,prepared
28 oz can of pizza sauce 2lbs shredde mozz. cheese
20 slices pepperoni,quartered


Brown beef and onion in a skillet:drain.Layer ingredients in order given in a slow cooker.Cover and heat on low setting for 4-6 hours.Serves 4.This is really yummy,I also usually get a big loaf of crusty Italian bread to go with it!

When do you start passing out and/or mailing out your Christmas gifts?

Well, I already ordered the one for my cousin's family in Florida. That'll get there after Thanksgiving.
We are just getting everyone gift cards this year. My family is all out East and it seems to cost more in shipping than in the presents. We decided that we don't want to give all our money to the Post Office, but we don't want to give up on the exchange totally, yet (that may change with the economy).
So after Thanksgiving, my gift cards will go out. My Sis will wrap those up pretty and I will wrap up the ones she sends.

I try to mail all gifts by the 15th of December. We pass out all our gifts starting on Christmas Eve.

You could also buy a gift with the gift card, wrap it a your home and put your sister's name on it. So the kids still get a gift and you save on postage.

There is a SDV event 8/21-8/24 2008.
A lot of the swappers have expressed an interest in going or being there.
We will already be there (hopefully the economy doesn't slide back) and so there are tentative plans to meet for meals.
