Do you make homemade beans? Baked beans, refried beans, .....?

I make homemade baked beans in the slow cooker sometimes. They're very sweet. I use real maple syrup. :)

Soy sauce... do you use soy sauce to cook with, as a condiment, .....?

I use soy sauce, especially when making soups.

Where is your most favorite vacation spot, and why?

I went to Sanibel, Florida, last fall, and loved it. I want to go back again and again.

What is your most favorite dessert?

That's a tough one!! I'm going to go with blueberry pie!

What is your most favorite dessert?

Chocolate eclair. YUM! :goodvibes

Where is your most favorite vacation spot, and why?

Definitely Disney. We have so many wonderful memories there with the kids there over the years. I have watched my kids grow up there practically. :) Second choice though would be the mountains. You just cannot beat the beauty there. :hippie: (Just wish they weren't so far away for us. :()

Do you make homemade beans? Baked beans, refried beans, .....?

Yes, all varieties. I worked at Taco Bell as a teenager back when they still made everything from scratch so I actually know how to make homemade refried beans so when I have the time to do them this way, it is my preferred method. :thumbsup2

Soy sauce... do you use soy sauce to cook with, as a condiment, .....?

Not typically, but I always have it on hand just in case. ;)

Before going on a trip, how far in advance do you start packing? Do you get nervous at all-(having to wait at the airport, being sure you don't miss your flight, ...), or are you excited, and look forward to your trip?

It depends on how long I've been planning the trip, if I'm staying with friends (thus bringing presents), and how excited I am. If I'm going to Florida, I'll start a month in advance, just dropping things into the suitcase as I remember or find them.

But my last trip, I packed two days before hand! We just went to Rochester, NY. :)

I make lists of what to pack a few weeks before hand, but nothing goes in the suitcase until a day or two before. If flying, I'm anxious until we are at the gate, and if driving, I worry some about weather.

My daughter, and I have been watching, and we have a few favorites. Sadie, Alfonso, Janelle, and Leah.

I think that Alfonso will win.

I used to watch, but not anymore. Too many other TV shows on the go.

I watch with my daughters. They want Sadie to win. I like Lea, Janelle, and Alfonso. It's going to be close.

Growing up, it was always Belle. I loved her best because she loved to read books, which was something I did.

And she had a horse. :)

Now, I like Merida, for a few reasons. I like that her story isn't about romantic love, but rather family love. I also like that she's strong. And a redhead.

And has a horse.

lol

My favorite princesses are 5, 7, 16, 20, 20. Oh, wait, you meant Disney princesses! :) Don't really have any of them. I loved Anna/Elsa's story though, maybe because of all our girls.

I love Belle because she's smart and brave and she LOVES to read. I LOVE to read too! :-)

I also really love Anna. She kinda quirky and spunky but very courageous. She's more relatable then some of Disney princesses.
