*Exchangers-Come and join us for the QOTD & Chat w/us* Part 4-Our New Thread

A few days supply. But if you do happen to have a freezer full. Invite friend family and neighbors and use your BBQ grill and have an aftermath party. That way everyone can bring something and a few candles and flash lights and not feel so alone. Kids think it's just a camp out type sleepover and it helps comfort all. This way working together as a team you can help each other get through it.

Mommytotwo. Are you near hawaii? If so my prayers for you and your family. I feel your anxiety!

Have you ever eaten Pinkberry frozen yogurt? If so, is there a difference between Pinkberry, and any other frozen yogurt shop? What is your favorite frozen yogurt shop, and what sort of toppings do you like to put onto your froyo?

I have never heard of Pinkberry. Don't have any yogurt shops close to us but we do have a Milky Moo's.....now that's good, its homemade ice cream.

A day's supply. This happened to us a couple years ago. Tree fell and we were without power/heat for a 4-5 days. Ate pizza by the fire for dinner, then cold pizza for breakfast the next morning (just left it sitting out!).

Is there a certain brand of BBQ sauce that you like? What do you use BBQ sauce for-dipping sauce, on ribs, ......

I buy kraft because it usually on sale. I have tried Stubbs and love it too. I used it mostly to marinade meat and sometimes BBQ chicken. The favorite for BBQ chicken is saucy Susan.

When there is a storm headed your way, and you had to choose one of the below choices, which would it be? *And lets say you do not have a back up generator....just no power for a few days.

*A refrigerator, and freezer that is well stocked. But knowing that with no power the food will go bad as the days go by.

*Just having about a days supply of food, then wondering what you will eat since you only have one days worth of non perishable foods.
Depends on what time of year. Well stocked freezer in the winter if it's cold otherwise non perishable foods.

What is your favorite ways to prepare shrimp?
Broil them.

Is there a certain brand of BBQ sauce that you like? What do you use BBQ sauce for-dipping sauce, on ribs, ......
We usually use Kraft but sometimes Sweet Baby Ray's.

Yes, but just family events and a few holidays. My house isn't big so the number of people is limited. I'm trying to slowly stop. The kids are older and I would rather travel for the holidays.

I host a yearly "Ugly Christmas Sweater" party that is also a potluck and gag gift exchange.

I used to host premiere and finale parties for True Blood fans, but the show stopped being good, and less people actually wanted to get together to watch it. I think I have maybe three friends hanging on to the bloody end on that show (yes, pun intended).

Do you host parties-(birthdays, and such), and dinner parties at your house?
I've hosted a lot of different kinds of parties at my home in the past but currently only doing bunco and book club parties once a year when its my turn. Later this year I'll be hosting a game night for three other couples that we are going to begin getting together with. My turn is November or December.

I've been seeing what has been happening in your area on the news. Hope it gets better soon.

Thanks Kirby! We're glad to have water again at home, but I'm still not drinking it. We're well stocked on bottled water- I plan to drink that until its gone.

What is your favorite ways to prepare shrimp?

With the passing of Robin Williams, what is your most favorite movie, show, .... that you enjoyed staring him?

Oh my gosh. I loved all of his movies. Aladdin was priceless. But I loved the last show he was in the crazy ones, but that was just cancelled at the end of the season.

Such a talented and tormented man. May He walk with the angels and be at peace.

Gosh, I don't know! Robin Williams really was part of my childhood. I can't even begin to wrap my head around how many children's movies and cartoons I saw/heard him in.

But I recently rewatched Mrs. Doubtfire and really enjoyed that. Jumanji as well.
