There are many different type of snack cakes out there-Twinkies, Ding Dongs, ..... what is your most favorite pre-packaged snack cake?

I like oatmeal cream pies and most of the TastyKakes I have been able to find.

oooo... I have so many. It would have to be the TastyKake coffee cakes or Cosmic Brownies.

Yeah- my hubby is a TastyKake freak! He loves all of them and when we find them- he buys them in bulk lol

Growing up, is there a type of toy that you have always wanted as a child, but did not receive that till this day, you still think about? Ex. A Cabbage Patch Doll, A nurse Barbie.....

I like mashed potatoes and gravy from KFC Also, my own gravy from turkey broth on Turkey day

I like KFC mashed potatoes, and gravy as well. Haven't had it in awhile.

I like country gravy, but mostly plain brown gravy on loco moco which is rice an egg, hamburger patty, sauteed onion, and then topped off with gravy. Or gravy on other things. I like to have some type of "sauce" or such on my food.

With all the different holidays coming up-Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years..... if you were to start a new tradition with your family, or alone, what type of traditions-big or small would you like to start?

As for my own traditions. Things will change since DH has a different work schedule now, so I am hoping to start small little traditions. Halloween, to make a type of new dessert that is Halloween themed. We usually have my DD's friend comes T.O.T.ing with us, and it has become a tradition for me to make a noodle soup dish which she also enjoys.

For Thanksgiving....I always watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and we host a Thanksgiving meal here. Maybe we can do some fun Thanksgiving games.

Christmas....after all the presents are open, it is usually a regular, and quiet day here. But maybe the kids, and I can put together pictures that they draw, and I can assemble them into a binder for us to look back on for the years to come. And well as doing that for New Years when we make mochi.

either the double dutch jump rope or a hoola hoop. I know.. so old fashioned. But I loved playing with them.

I don't like very many gravies or sauce. I think the only thing I put gravy on is white rice. The gravy is cream of chicken soup with two cans of tuna fish mixed in.

Nothing for Halloween because we don't celebrate it.
For Thanksgiving, I alone would like to try to make a new dessert every year.
For Christmas, maybe have the family try making some homemade Christmas tree ornaments or make cookies together.

Lol we don't have to search for TastyKakes. They are available pretty much everywhere here. The TastyKake outlet is like... a 20minute drive. My family doesn't buy them much unless they are on sale. Otherwise, the brand is a bit too expensive for us.

I watch Dancing with the Stars also, and I think it would be interesting to see the All Stars dance again. But there are no other shows that I am waiting for to start.

Hello everyone, i'm back!

New traditions -

Halloween -Not doing it this year, we just don't get kids anymore.

Thanksgiving - Started last year, i am no longer making a hugh meal and last year even told my sister to make the dinner.

Christmas - Started last year, not making so many darn cookies, i can't eat them so why make them for everyone else? (i do still make them for my husband).

No, every year there seems to be less and less that interest me on TV. I am looking forward to the new Mythbusters season, but i think i will no longer watch Bones anymore.

Hi Heidi! Glad to see you.

We dropped cable for about a year, and just recently got basic. I've really taken to watching shows/series on Netflix. I can watch the whole episode w/o interruption, which is nice. The drawback is that it's not current. My favorite show on Netflix right now is "White Collar."

I used to love watching all of the house huntings shows, even though they're staged. I did get tired of hearing everyone complain about houses not having granite, stainless appliances, and how hard it would be to re-paint.

I'll have to see if Revenge is on Netflix. It sounds good.

I have never been to a big boardway type play, but if I ever get to New York, I hope to watch one.

We've been to a lot of plays. We had season passes to the theater when we lived in WA for about 5 years.
We have also seen a few of the traveling Broadway shows.
Just got tickets for April for Beauty and the Beast .
