*Gold-My husband had watched a t.v. show about gold, and he said that he would not mind trying to find for some. Personally, I think he would be disappointed with his find, if he finds anything, but it would be a nice experience.


*Ice cream-We are going out for ice cream tonight, and I am hoping to get either blueberry cheesecake, or green tea which I tried the last time, and really enjoyed.


*Thanksgiving-I wish I could get a break from hosting our Thanksgiving meal, and just relax, and enjoy the Macys Thanksgiving parade in the morning.

No we do not.

John used to have a motorcycle but when he almost hit a deer with it he sold it.

No, not anymore. We used to have a Goldwing motorcycle, but DH sold it because it sat in the garage more than it got ridden.

Joe wants a Goldwing. He really wants a Harley but they are too expensive. He had a motorcycle when we were dating and we rode it all the time. He even went on a road trip to South Carolina with his brother on one.

We have a four wheeler and a golf cart. Both are for the deer lease.

What is a deer lease?

It's land that you rent to hunt on. Depending on where it's located, you can hunt deer, dove, turkey, ducks, quail or hogs. I forget the amount of acreage that Joe hunts on but the lease is for a year. Some leases are for the day, others for a weekend, maybe a week, it all depends upon the owner. He has to abide by the hunting seasons. Dove starts September 1st for us, bow season begins in October and gun season for deer begins in November. The season run for different lengths of times. And Joe brings home the meat from what he kills for us to cook or we share with others who would like some.

I had a Harley Davidson motorcycle until last summer. I had gotten ill and missed a year of work. The bike had to go when my income dropped.
Now that I am feeling better and back to work.. who knows... maybe I'll buy another one next year.
It sure was fun!!!

I copied that off of a friend's FB post. If you think that's funny, get a load of this joke. I'll try to get it right.

A teacher was giving her class LifeSavers and having them tell her what flavors they were. Cherry-Strawberry, Lime-Apple, Grape, Pineapple. She gave them one with the flavor of Honey. The kids were stumped so she gave them a hint. "It's something that your mom calls your dad", she said. After a minute, a little girl made a horrible face and spit hers out yelling "It's a**holes!".

What sort of activities do you, and your family members like to do together?

With the kids grown and not around as much anymore, we just like to be together. Recently we've gone out to eat, to the movies, played Top Golf, shopping, fishing, just whatever comes along. We're game for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Mini golf, like to bowl too but have not done that in a long time.

What sort of activities do you, and your family members like to do together?

We never see the two older ones anymore; well one lives a couple hours away, and the other does live with us, but she goes to school full time and works full time, and has a social life in between! DH and I like to go to yardsales together. It's our alone together time. DD16 and I spend almost every waking moment planning our next trip! We (3, sometimes all 4!) go out to eat together occasionally, but this doesn't happen often.
