I've used a Reynolds Oven Bag for several years now and my turkeys have always turned out good.
I just do whatever the instructions say. Mine say to put flour in the bag and brush the turkey with oil before sealing and baking it. That's off the top of my head. I don't put stuffing inside my turkey so there may be other instructions if you do that. And don't forget to cut slits in the top for the steam to escape.Okay, I bought a oven bag to try. Do I need to include any liquid in there with it?
It has been a number of years since I've eaten a Thanksgiving meal anywhere but at my mom's. I always like the food there.Turkey Talk....
What three side dishes do you NOT like to eat that is usually served during Thanksgiving?

It has been a number of years since I've eaten a Thanksgiving meal anywhere but at my mom's. I always like the food there.I'm not real fond of sweet potatoes, just a spoonful or two is enough for me. When I've eaten at other family members homes, I usually don't eat what I don't care for. I know I don't like mushy stuffing, the kind that you could make a ball and throw.
I like a drier stuffing that absorbs the gravy. I'm not real fond of pumpkin pie either but will eat a small sliver.
See I'm not on this thread a long time and we still have a lot in common.
To go along with the sweet potatoes and the mushy stuffing, I will add green bean casserole. As for the pumpkin pie I smother it in cool whip that way you can't taste the pumpkin, lol.
