There are 2 I remember the most. One was an oversized board book called "I Am A Mouse" that I can remember carrying around. The other is Rudyard Kipling's "The Elephant Child". I wanted to hear it every day, but I would only let my grandfather read it to me. :goodvibes I still have both.

I'm giving away my age, here, aren't I? :rotfl2:

In about 4th grade I started my babysitters club obsession.... I had over 50 of the books! I would save all my allowance each month to buy the new one coming out. When I was itty bitty,my fav book was some Raggedy Anne book or Annie I am sure! :goodvibes

When I was small, I enjoyed looking at and reading Golden Books. As I got older, I read Black Beauty many times. I also liked to read The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew.

My sister had a book that I wish I had kept. It was a book that had a one page story for each day of the year. It was about a dead end street and all the families that lived on that street. I searched and searched for it for my kids and could never find it because I didn't know the name. I would love to have that book!

Do I have any special talents? Not really.

It has been a long day, so I didn't get to post the QOTD for today yet-it is still Wednesday here, so here are two QOTDs-

*Do you squeeze/make your own freshly squeezed juice using fruits or vegetables?

*Are you carving a pumpkin this year? If so, in what design?

No to both questions. But if I were going to carve a jack o'lantern, I would do one that I saw on a jack o'lantern walk I went on in the Arboretum in Lubbock. It was very simple, just dime to quarter size holes all over it. Looked very pretty.

1. Sometimes. My kiddos love lemonade!

2. Yup- doing it tonight, so I will have to let you know. Last year I did stars allover my pumpkin I believe. DH did a bat or gravestone.... DD did a cat. It could be anything in this house!

My kids, and I sometimes make lemonade together. Our friend has been giving us squeezed tangerine juice which has the pulp, and it is very good.

Last night, my husband carved Buzz-the bee from the Honey Nut Cherrios and he did a great job. Took him a few hours.

No. But one day, far from now, I will send cards to my grandchildren for all the different holidays.

I send out Christmas cards to everyone..... as for the others, I sometimes mail one to my grandmother. :confused3

I do send out Christmas cards/letters. I was thinking about the other special days in my previous answer.

I don't go for wild movies, but the 3-d version of things like Bolt are fine for me.

I sometimes like them. My kiddo does like them though. I loved Coraline in 3-d! I watched the last Harry Potter and wasn't too thrilled, but my glasses were funky too.

Happy Halloween!!!

Today's QOTD is-

What is your most memorable Halloween costume you ever had?

I have two that come to mind. I don't know what my age was, just that I was in elementary school. I was a black cat, all dressed up cute and I had to wear a coat because it was cold that year.

The other was when I was either 6th or 7th grade. We are able to roam the neighborhoods by ourselves in a group at that age and we all dressed as hobos. We had so much fun!

Happy Halloween!

I remember being a punk rocker in, I think, 2nd grade. I still have the pic- It's funny. And even worse- I have a pic of me as a clown one year with a huge red bowtie. Yup..... ahhhh the 80's! :goodvibes
