So far, just one is on the calendar. But the season's still young yet......

Hi Patsy! I'm doing good. James is in for a couple of days. He has a job interview for an entry level engineering position after he graduates.

I don't drink tea very often anymore. I prefer sweet tea but not too sweet. I also like cinnamon tea. I'm not a fan of flavored teas and am very picky.

Hi ladies, hope you are all having a nice day. Today I am going to B's class to help them make sugarplum houses, so I came up with this QOTD-

Did you make a gingerbread house, or planning on assembling one this year? Did you do this as a child?

Kirby-Good luck to James on his interview. Read your lovely Christmas letter, and wow Carol is keeping herself busy with everything isn't she.

PrincessHeather'sMom-Wish I drank tea to warm me up. I used to try it as a child, but don't care for the taste.

leith78-Guess what we did a couple days ago as a family! We had decorated S's Christmas tree outside. We had some oranments on it as well as garland, but DH-surprisingly, said that we should put lights on it. So we have lights as well as ornaments on the tree. We even had our own little tree lighting ceremony. I have been saying that next year, we will cut down that tree, and put it indoors.

I've never made a Gingerbread House. Since my kids are now grown, I guess I'll have to do one with the grandkids one day.

Patsy - yes, Carol keeps herself busy and on top of that now, she's sick with probably mono again.

Shayla's tree sounds lovely. You should leave it outside and decorate it every year.

Do you drink tea? If so, do you prefer cold or hot teas? Do you enjoy flavored teas?

I drink cold lemon tea. I only like the spice flavored hot teas like pumpkin or cinnamon spice.

We had a gingerbread house party this year for kids in our church ages 4-7. -about 18kids- they all had alot of fun with it. My family have built small gingerbread houses before but we didnt this year

:( hope Carol feels better. We always seem to get sick when the kids are off of school. Hoping that does not happen. With Shayla's tree, it is too close to the house so we were suppost to have pulled it out last year or the year before, and just left it. I think it is time for it to come down next year :(. Hoping we can replant it somewhere, but the lights will not reach it whereever it will get replanted to.

cousinbb, sounds like a fun event. And it is fun no matter how old you are ;).

How many different Christmas parties are you attending this year?

I think just one this year. I'm good with that! :goodvibes

My Baba used to make the best hot tea when I would go to her house. I'm more of a coffee drinker now, altho I love Earl Grey tea...and sweet tea, like in the south.

What is the most interesting holiday dessert you have tried? Ex. At a party we are attending, someone said that they will be making candy cane pie, so I am interested in seeing how that is made, and hopefully will be able to try a small slice.

I don't recall any thing off hand but I am thinking about making peppermint fudge.

What are your top three favorite holidays?
Christmas
New Years
4th of July

I'd have said Halloween and Easter but they aren't holidays.
