:wave2: Hi Everyone! Patsy asked if I'd like to ask the QOTD today, so here goes:

What's the longest plane and/or car ride you've taken?

For me, the longest plane ride I've been on was about 8 hours, and the longest car ride was 22 hours. Thank goodness we broke the car ride into 2 days though.

The longest would be to Japan. We actually have to take a car ride to the airport, then fly to another airport here within our state, take a long plane ride, a taxi, a bullet train, then another car ride just to get to our destination. So it is not a fast, easy, or relaxing trip. But once that takes up alot of time, and energy. But when we get to our destination, it is all worth it.

Thank you for putting together the QOTD Monica. :thumbsup2

Longest plane ride, was when I was 4 - California to Pennsylvania.

Longest vehicle ride, I was 12 and went with my dad (he was a truck driver) from Pennsylvania to California.

Sushi-yuck
New Years-eve
Celebration-cruise
Steak-tartare
Corn-on the cob
Juice-box

Longest car ride - IL to Utah
Longest Plane ride probably Indy to Orlando, not too bad

Longest car ride - Dallas to DC (split into two days)

Longest plane ride - Dallas to Portland, Oregon

Longest car ride......Northern WA to mid Arizona. We took 3 days. DH was driving a huge truck, so slow going in some spots.

Longest plane ride.....Phoenix to Barcelona with a Seattle stop to pick up BFF and a layover in NY. I think on plane was about 14 hours.

Plane was from FL to CA (and back).
Car was from northern IN to Phoenix, AZ.

And now I have the sushi song in my head....

Longest van ride Richmond BC to Disneyland (1300 miles over 4 days we like to take our time) Longest flight....LAX to SEOUL Korea 13 1/2 hrs ( not including the 3 hr flight from YVR to LAX) many years ago.

Longest car ride- picking up my step-daughter at her mom's house in Michigan. UGH! From Ga to Mi and back the next day. :scared1: It took about 18 hours there and 20 back.... it was bad.

Only been in a plane once. That was from Ohio to South Carolina... I was like 5, so I don't remember too much, except annoying the people behind me. :rotfl:

Thank you Monica for being the guest poster. Tomorrows guest poster will be Kirby. Feel free to post your QOTD at any time Susan.

Thanks Patsy! I'm running a little late. Had a lot of work to get done in the office this morning and then went to Carol's dental appointment at the wrong time. Like about three hours too soon.

So, my QOTD is:

If you were going to buy a new car, what color would you choose?

I'm going to go car shopping in the next couple of days. I've been driving white cars since 1989 and I'm not sure that I'll get another white one. I'm leaning more towards a maroon or light blue/gray this time around.

Right now I have a light green car, and I love it because I can always spot it in a parking lot. I'd probably go for green again, or a really pretty darker blue with metallic shine, or a pearl color.

Our car is a darker gray, and I like that color. My husband had gone car shopping last year without me. He was actually there to just take a look and see what trade in value we could get for our then present car. We kept talking back, and fourth on the phone, and made the decision. During that time, it was either the darker smokey like gray or red, and I didn't want the red. But after looking through the car magazine, the red was not a bright red, so it would have been okay as well. If we were to get a different color or could choose, it would have been black.
