Dell's not always perfect, but they're often utterly great. We made a mistake when ordering our new laptop, "upgrading" the DVD burner from an 8X to a 32X. Well, probably with that was that the 32X wasn't a burner!
The good folks at Dell were ready to process a return (after which I'd have to work though a new order, etc.) when they came up with an idea -- so they're shipping me an external burner (as an add-on to the player built-in to the laptop) at no charge. While I wouldn't expect such generosity every time, it is amazing customer service nonetheless!
