Just a heads up: Tonight I was checking Thriftys December rates and a compact is $84.00/week plus taxes and fees. I think that using WMRT as a code an additional 10% can be deducted.

Yep - I used the above (actually used the AMEX code and got the same rate) for a compact, 8 days (Dec 8-16) for $86 all inclusive.

...or 12-19 to 1-1 picking up at the Disney Care Center and returning to MCO.

entertainment book has the only current discounts/codes past 12/15 i've seen; although i'm sure they'll roll out more (unless they're starting the holiday blackout period very early this year?)

'07 books are very cheap now, $6?; their alamo & national coupons are good thru end of June '08.
