Excel spreadsheet help

I'm not all that proficient with excel. Don't really have a reson too. LOL
Anyways, I have a spreadsheet that has about 7 columns of information. I only need to print out in spreadsheet form 2 of them. We'll call them D and G. I tried highlighting the 2 columns and then setting print area but that didn't work. Isn't that the way it would be done? If not, how do I do it?

Highlight the other columns and hide them (right click once the columns are highlighted, it's an option that should pop up).

Excel can be weird about print areas. Highlight the entire work space then do Print Area - CLEAR - Then highlight the areas you wnat to print and do PRINT AREA - Set

Then do a print preview to see if that has done it.

Highlight all the columns, right click and choose Unhide

FYI - Right click and hide/unhide only comes up as an option when you are highlighting via the column "headers". If you are highlighting within the worksheet you have to go to the top menu and click FORMAT - COLUMN - hide/unhide

You can also select them -then do file - print - and in the print box toward the bottom, there is a "Print What" and you pick Selection. It will only print what you've hilighted.

This is what I do.

Highlight the wanted data.
Click Print.
Click Selected.
Click ok.

Thank you so much for all the help. It printed perfectly now! Its been a while since I've had to do anything in excel I forgot. God help me if I ever return to office work! LOL
