OK now I am the one who is confused. I think you guys are thinking of southern princess. I read a few of her posts on the wedding board. Anyway, I did not call anyone specifically childish, I was referring to the people like darian dawn and her posse who did not know how to act, but thanks for proving my point that certain people try and turn everything into a debate. Even a simple post suggesting we just respect each other. I will take some intelligent advice from some of the posts and simply avoid the people who feel the need to argue about everything. I don't need to debate all my life because I'm not the kind of person who has to have the last word. I would rather keep my dignity in knowing that I know what I believe and that is all that matters.

I mostly surf here, and don't post much, but I have to agree that the community board should NOT become the debate board. There are enough rude people around here as is without making it worse!

I hate this implication that everyone from the debate board is rude and calls everyone names. I did not post often on the debate board, but I loved to lurk and "got to know" a lot of the regulars. I found the majority to be bright and well-read and I loved to read all of the links they provided for their arguments, even when I disagreed with their position.

I also found the majority to be cordial - they agreed to disagree. I've seen much worse on this board. It was a few minority members that, unfortunately, ruined it for the majority. I, for one, welcome all the DB board members here on the CB and look forward to some fun debates on this board.

Some people need to take their own advice and if you don't like what I have to say than skip it. I was making a point. You asked for a reason why I would prefer to have a C section well that is mine!!!! I guess mY opinion was too bold, but it is the truth!

If you find someone not following board rules then by all means click on the "Report this post to a moderator" at the bottom of every post. I'm sure a moderator will deal with the situation appropriately. Otherwise I suggest you buy some thicker skin to slide into when reading this board.

I did not go to the debate board often but when I did I found it to be just that a debate board....and I enjoyed it.

I think it would be nice to have it back. I do not see why it was closed.

If it offends some they should not go there and read.

I for one am sorry to see it closed.

I totally agree with this statement. You will NEVER get 100% of the folks here to agree with everything you say (or post). It's pretty fruitless to even try.

Yes it does in fact!! SHe was the one insulting other people's weddings not even considering that MAYBE some people on this very board's feelings would be hurt and I was merely saying who is she to tell what is tacky. Lots of people have different tastes and I for one did not agree with just bashing people for what they can and can't afford for their wedding.

BTW, I did not post this to get replies, I merely wanted to say hey everyone let's see if we can go one day without arguing about anything and everything, but from the hostility of the posts here I guess I got my answer.
