Whatever you choose to do, be sure to let someone in authority know. It is best to document these things. Sure, it might be a one time thing, but what if it is not?
My DH niece was molested by her step brother when she was 5, he was 13. I did not learn of this until my DD was born. I had never met the boy, and I asked my inlaws "Is this kid still alive?"
They said of course, and he has gotten help. His help consisted of one therapy session. While DN got three and that is it.
Needless to say, I never left my DD alone with that boy around.
Protect your child...that is what parents do best (at least the ones that care about their kids). I hope you can get things worked out with your ex about this terrible situation.
