EWP group?

No, Rider, we do not do PS's. I will call over and check to see if there is availability before walking or driving over to a place tho. I don't want to be tied down and miss other things by having ressies. We never know when we are going to be hungry and what we feel like eating that particular day. It takes me about a day and a half to drive down. I usually leave here about 8 to avoid the Louisville traffic and try to get through Atlanta before I shut down for the night. I avoid rush hour at Atlanta like the plague. I used to drive 100 m iles out of my way to avoid the city until someone clued me into driving thru on 75 instead of taking the bypass which is terrible and it is much better. I can handle 10 minutes of terror as opposed to 30-40 minutes AND having to change lanes back and forth. I stay in the middle lane and pray that everyone else behaves well. LOL I am so stressed out with everything I have to do that I am not excited. I won't be until we pull out of the garage on Thursday morning. There is a revival going on at my DD's church (behind our home) and so I am cooking for them all this week as well. She is very appreciative. She picks up Dalton from daycare at 5:30 and the revival starts at 7 so it does not leave much time for doing anything else. We had a big pot of chili and cream cheese brownies last night. Stuffed peppers, homemade wheat bread and peaches tonight. Too busy to get my fancier than that. It will have to be lunchmeat and such tomorrow night as I will be gone all day tomorrow. I am going to sign our new wills and buy our cemetary plots. Fun day. I am looking forward to getting this done so I won't have to think about my demise again for a very long time. Next year I am going to get my headstone. Gruesome ain't I? My DD is totally helpless (hopeless) and could not handle anything so I am trying to make it as easy as I can on everyone.

I am just a tiny bit worried about DD having the surgery. It is very routine and not too dangerous. Because of the shortage of donors it was a proceedure that they did not do unless you were totally blind years ago. It is a wonderful gift and I think it is wonderful to have part of a loved one live on after their death. They take donations of skin for burn victims and I am signed up for that one. I have loads of very nice skin. (sick today aren't I?) Nuff stuff!

With the parks closing early and opening late I am sure that I am not going to get in the lines for either time of day. I wonder if we will be able to make ressies at restaurants near closing or even after? Would be great to have a nice meal before going back to the room. The pools will be so crowded and the food courts too. I am glad that we will have a car and even though I am night blind I know my way around enough that I can drive to some places to get away from the crowds.

Rider, did you HAVE to tell us about your great weather? You could be a friend and send us a few degrees so we won't freeze to death tonight. LOL Reminds me of my Florida sister who delights in calling in the dead of winter and telling me that she had to turn on her furnace last night cause it got down to 70.:bounce:

I have to go plant some more bulbs and dig up some other things so I had better head. Got the breadmaker all programmed and set. Ain't technology great?

More Pixie Dust for Jstmee * * * * * * * * * * *

I everyone! I hope all is well with you guys! Well it is cold here and we finally got someone to turn the heat up near by where our cubes are at work :bounce: We just hope it will bring in some heat. I think it might be working now as I speak :D

You know we don't do many PS either. Last time we went, we made one for Crystal Palace and one for 'Ohana. We didn't mind doing that because we figured that for lunch we could easily work our way over to MK and for 'Ohana it was for dinner at about 7:00 and that was easy to do as well. Since both have a bunch of different types of food for us to choose from those are easier to get to. I think the last time I went with my family we chose the same thing as well. So compared to most we don't pick many PS. If we decide earlier in the day that we want to eat at, for example Akershus, we will just make the PS and see when we can get in. We don't seem to have too much trouble doing that. Truly though on the last trip we ate almost every evening at the Poly concierge lounge and every morning we ate there as well. So it just left us with lunch and for us we normally eat at whatever "fast food" we can find. I guess I don't go to WDW for much of the food. I loved Bongo's when we went there in '99 and I did want to go when we were there last but we just never made it. I don't like to do a lot of sit down places mostly because I like spending as much time in parks as possible. I might be funny like that but we do what we like I guess :)

SG, it sounds like you have a busy few days ahead of you. But remember in about a week you will be IN sunny old Florida :D I think it is very smart though to get your wills and your cemetary plots laid out already. My grandmother has hers all picked out and her coffin all paid for so we won't have to worry about that when she is no longer with us. My dad has his plot as well, but his is only because of my mother's death. But it is better to plan ahead I think. It isn't morbid either, it is just a fact of life and you can go on living after that.

Rider, I am glad that you have such lovely weather... want to send some our way. It really is too darn windy right now and not very warm. My sister is having to look for new winter coats now and she is not looking forward to that!

Well I should get back to work now. I hope all is well with you all today and Jstmee let us know how you are doing!

Hello!

We, on the other hand, are big PS people! I had a big, formal schedule laid out, before our past 2 trips, and made all of the PS's at least a month ahead of time! We had so many PS's that we had to miss a personal tour of "Fantasmic headquarters" (ie: the control booth) by my friend who works there, because I didn't want to miss our California Grill PS and couldn't switch it around with the other 500 PS's that I made! I definitely think that it's a good idea to make PS's for character meals, in particular. And they really did save us a lot of time, when there were specific places at which we wanted to eat (ie: Prime Time Cafe, at lunch time). At the same time, I'm sure that it's nice not to be bound by having to be at particular place at a particular time. I'm going to try to "calm down" with the PS's when we go in June. And I promised my WDW friend that we would not make any dinner plans till we knew when his days off were, so that we could have dinner with him and not have that upset our PS schedule. Plus, I want my tour of the Fantasmic booth, next year!

You're making me hungry with all that talk of the great food that you're making, again, SG! We actually just had stuffed peppers, too! It's good that you're taking care of all of these things before your trip. I also already have a cemetary plot, believe it or not. My grandparents arranged it so that there were plots for themselves, my parents, my uncle, me, and I think that there is even one for my husband, too! (Although I don't know whether by religious law Frank can be buried in a Jewish cemetary) UGH - even though we know that those are important things to think about and take care of......let's not think about them, now!

Less than a week now, SG! Have the suitcases arrived on the pool table, yet?

I hope that it's warming up a bit, out there, Helenabear! Our warm weather left last night - we had our last day of weather in the 70's, yesterday, I believe. I think it will get up to the 60's, today, and no higher than 50-55 over the weekend. Time to break out the sweaters, I guess!

I will have your tape in the mail tomorrow or at the beginning of next week, Helenabear! I may try to put some more footage on it, tonight. But I want to make sure that you have it by next Saturday for our "virtual EWP viewing"!

Hope that all is well with you, Jstmee - we're thinking of you! :)

Have a great day, Everyone! Talk to you, soon! :)

Helenabear, did the storms do much damage there? Some places around us were hit pretty badly but the weather service said they did not issue a warning cause it was not bad enough!! I subscribe to the weather warnings on my computer. I spend so much time on this thing that is the onlyway I would know if it is storming. I do not hear well and we live in a huge house and the top of the house is so far away I don't hear the rain. A lot of power outages here but I think that is more the miserable electric company we have than the storms. IMHO

Have bunches of little stuff to do today. Cemetary plot buying has been put off as the man in charge has had to change plans. People do not live long in my family and when we go we go out big time. My poor mother who was as smart as anything had a series of strokes before she finally collapsed on the kitchen floor. She was up early working while everyone else was still asleep. Used to think that was terrible but the older I get the more attractive it seems. Beats laying around in a bed for a few years. IMHO

I am reading the posts with even more interest to finalize our plans, such as they are. Will do most of the packing this weekend. I am taking off some time on Sunday to go see "Little Shop of Horrors". I just love live entertainment especially if there is music involved. Now if it is sick and twisted, so much the better!!! (grin)

Have the breadmaker set up and got some lunchmeat and cheese out of the freezer for this evening. No big meals today. Take care all and hope to see you all during the day. I just love dropping by and seeing what everyone is up to and finding some quiet time here that I don't seem to have much of in my 'real' life. LOL

Slightly Goofy

Hey Rider, you must have been in here the same time I was. It is a wonder we did not bump into each other!

Yep, the suitcases are on the pool table with their mouths wide open and ready to be filled to the brim with everything I find 'necessary" for existence for the next couple of weeks. I go on the 2 shirts for each pair of pants theory. I figure you can always wipe off a pair of pants but I must have a clean top each day. I take a small bag for necessities for the trip down and back so we don't have to lug vast amounts of stuff in and out each night. We are taking a big one for each of us this trip so I probably won't have to fight the hoards at the laundry.

You underscored the main reason I do not make PS ressies. I cannot imagine missing out on a chance to see behind the scenes to eat at a restaurant no matter how nice. The restuarant will (maybe0 be there forever but not the chance for the special magic. I love being able to stop and see the small things like the live entertainment and talking to cm's and other visitors and such. My real life is so hectic that I enjoy relaxing on vacation. Different strokes for different folks. (grin)

As soon as I get a chance I will dig out my tapes and dub what footage I have for you Rider and send it to you. You can be our curator of video footage. Will probably be the first of the year though.

Dalton was trying to stay here last night instead of going to church and I reminded him that he was going to get to spend a lot of time here soon. He held up his 5 fingers and told his mother he was going to stay here that long and then he slid his other hand , with the resquite other five fingers, up beside the others and smiled and said he was staying THAT long. LOL I have a feeling that he won't be quite as thrilled by the end of the 5 days he will be staying as I have bedtimes and rules and such that his parents don't have. Should be interesting tho.

I have to get some work done before the Dalton swap so I had better run. I will walk around the suite before I leave in case I am missing someone who is curled up in a corner enjoying some solitude.

Slightly Goofy

Hello!

I'm sure that you will enjoy "Little Shop of Horrors", SG! I loved the film version, but I've never seen it performed live - I would be curious to know how they stage it!

I love your stories about Dalton - he sounds so cute! You'll have to post pictures of your DGC's some time, when you have a chance!

I would love to be "CURATOR OF THE VIDEOS" - please - I'm always happy to make tapes for people and would love to see yours, too! :) I'm really "into" pictures and video....in case you couldn't tell (hee hee!)!

Sorry that this is such a short one, but I'm trying to sneak these posts in while at work, and am constantly afraid that someone will sneak up behind me and see me on the internet. So.....I'd better run! Will check in again as soon as I can!

Hope that everyone is having a great day! :)

Hello!

Just wanted to check in and say that I hope that you're all having a nice weekend! My father is going to have his hernia surgery tomorrow (could be as early as 5:30 AM!), and I am going to take him to the hospital and do a bunch of things to help him and the home health aide who is going to be living with my parents. So, I may not be able to check in for a few days. Hope that all is well with all of you! I'll stop by the Suite as soon as I can for some relaxing in the jacuzzi and fun conversation! And I'll definitely be back in time for Slightly Goofy's BON VOYAGE party! Have a nice day! :)

We had a busy weekend here. One thing we did was to cut down a tree that was pressing up against our house. It was a sickly tree as well and probably wouldn't have lived much longer so we put it out of its misery. We have soo many trees here that one sickly little tree probably won't make much of a difference.

PD to your day Rider. I hope all goes well with his surgery. Well I have a few things I need to do yet today so I had better go. I hope all had a great weekend!

Lots of Pixie Dust for Rider's Dad. * * * * * * * I am so glad to hear that you were able to get them talked into getting an aide. Maybe if you Dad is comfortable with this he might consider hiring someone to help out even after he gets better so he won't have all the care of your mother. How did you get him talked into it?

You done good Helenabear. Cutting down that tree might have prevented some serious damage to your house. You have t o watch out for shrubs and such too close to the foundation also. IMHO Owning a home is a neverending source of wants and needs. Very satisfying though. I was going to install acrylic panels on our basement windows but Loew's is in the process of moving to a new store and did not have the sizes I needed. When they tear down the house next door it will open up the alley next to our house to the street and I thought a bit more protection would be in order. Hope it survives until we return home. Probably will, our tiny town is not known for much crime.

Little Shop of Horrors was a blast. Not many people in the audience tho. It was at a different school from where they usually hold them. Not too good a neighborhood. There were some very talented people in the cast. The staging was very simple with just the store and a 'sidewalk' in front. The guy who played the dentist was scary. He was a blonde and his face turned so red that it really looked like he WAS dying. He used an asthma inhaler for his 'gas' fix. I love live performances. Am thinking of subscibing to a "Broadway Series" this coming year. Will wait and see what shows they are going to offer. I bet you see some of the current plays hitting the sticks a bit sooner than you would expect cause of the downturn on Broadway.

I will steal a minute, after the trick or treaters and the pizza party for the grands, on Wednesday evening to go over my last minute plans with my dear EWP buddies. I have a small photo album with all my file cards all filled out and ready. Don't want to miss anything. I also have the menus printed out and in a file to refresh our memories. I have had to change our plans to see EWP to the 9th. I hope that will not mess up any of your plans. Would not be the same without you.

Hi ladies, I wanted to pop into here quickly because the next few days will be kind of busy. Tonight I have to finish sewing up a part of my costume for the kids tomorrow and tomorrow we have the Beggars Night. We never do it on Halloween anymore and never on a weekend. Supposedly this is for the safety of the children and I really don't mind either way. Tonight I also have to hunt up some heavy leggings just in case. It is supposed to be a little warmer this week but just in case tomorrow I want to make sure my legs are warm under my dress.

We are so glad to have that tree down. It apparently has been pushing up against the house for a small amount of time but the previous owners never really noticed what it was doing and how much damage it could cause. It really bothered me to hear it the night we had those really bad storms. I heard it rubbing against the window and I knew that was no good. We have a few other plants we watch out for and I know we need to trim a tree so that it doesn't hang so close to the gutters. I love owning a house even though we have to fix things ourselves, but I guess that is what I like. I love fixing things myself and we could never do that in our apartment. We also have a leaky sink I need to fix... then again I think I might replace it because it is kind of very very cruddy and I think it might just be too old to work properly. Same with our kitchen fixture. I think on that one though I will try to clean it out better to see if the water can come through it better. I have a feeling it might just have a lot of hard water/lime deposites and that makes it not as good as our other fixtures which are newer.

Sounds like you had a great time SG at Little Shop of Horror. That show always cracks me up to see. I think some of the lines are just wonderful and it seems to be a very well written script.

Rider, please let us know how the surgery went for your father. I think it is wonderful that he will have an in home aide at least for a while. Hopefully it will spoil him into having at least a part time nurse come in for some help after he recovers.

I look forward to having some time off later on as the holidays approach I take more "sick days" and more vacation days with my family. My friend from Cancun will be in this week and sometime in Nov. we will have a baby shower for her. I am so excited about that as I love shopping for babies. I have already gotten some nice Onsies for her baby that will work wonderfully in the heat of Cancun in the spring.

Well I should head back to work. I look forward to watching the EWP with you all and the 9th will work just fine for me. I hope you all have a great day!

Hello!

Happy Halloween, Everyone! :)

Sorry that I haven't been able to check in until now. But I wanted to make sure that I got a chance to wish BON VOYAGE to SG and her DH!!!!!!! Have a wonderfully fantastic, special, terriffic, amazing time!!!!!! We will be thinking of you! And we'll definitely watch the EWP on the 9th, so that we can "virtually" watch it, together! Have a great, great time! Can't wait to hear all about your trip when you return!

Yes, it definitely sounds like you did the right thing by cutting down that tree, Helenabear! You must feel better, now that it's done, so that it won't disturb you during storms or possibly cause damage to your house. You mentioned a costume - are you dressing up, today? What are you going to "be"? How about you, SG? Are you dressing up with your DGC's? I can't wait to hear about their Halloween!

Thanks so much, to both of you, as always, for asking for my Father. I am so happy that Monday is over. My father is doing well - I spoke to him yesterday and he sounded 100% better than he did when I left him on Monday night. He sounded like he was in good spirits, and he was joking around, etc. He also said that he's moving around and was able to feed their cat, and that he slept well, too. We were at the hospital from 5:00 AM - 7:30 PM, on Monday - it was a very looooong day. (I had to get up at 2:30 AM to be ready to pick up my Uncle, then my father, and get us all to the hospital) Then, I brought my father and my Uncle Irving back to my parents' house, ran to the pharmacy to pick up my father's pain killers, went BACK to my parents' house, picked up Irving and brought him home....then finally got home at 9:00PM! I was delirious, at that point! Totally and completely exhausted. Thank God for Frank - he had dinner ready for me and had taken care of all of the chores around the house. I just collapsed when I got home. But everything went well - the doctor said that the surgery was successful, and hopefully my father will take care of himself. One neat thing - as we were waiting for the wheel chair to arrive, to take my father out of the hospital Monday night, I ran into my best friend Gary's (my "Man of Honor" at my wedding) younger brother, Jordan. He was there, volunteering for his synagogue, visiting people from the congregation who are in the hospital. He happened to see my father's name on his list (of all the Jewish people who had been admitted), so he stopped by to see my father, which I thought was really nice. Anyway, hopefully my father will continue to improve and get stronger, and maybe he WILL want to keep someone on permanently to help him with my mother. I hope so. Speaking of my mother, weirdly enough, all of a sudden, she started calling me "honey" and acting all "normal" and "nice" to me.....for the first time since June! Very weird! I'm hoping that it will continue - maybe she is so grateful for all the things I have done to help them, lately, that she is finally going to treat me nicely, again. Who knows? I'm not asking questions - I'm just happy that things are "peaceful"!

Anyway, I hope that you're all having a nice day and a fun Halloween!

Once again, Bon Voyage and have a safe and fun trip, Slightly Goofy! We'll be there with you "in spirit" (if not in person, in your suitcases - hee hee!)! :) Have a great day, Helenabear! Hope that all is well with you, Jstmee! And have a nice day, Everyone! :)

Hello ladies. I am taking a nice afternoon break and stopping in there to say "hi" you you all. Life here is nice and slow now since the Halloween stuff is over with for us. We had a good amount of kids come last night and fortunately not much candy was left over :D We had fun last night and that is what is most immportant.

Rider, it is good to hear that things are looking up in your life with your family. Your bestfriend's brother sounds like a dear and it is wonderful to know that he sought out your father to visit him. I too hope for your sake that he finds out that he cannot live without his newly hired help :D

SG, well tonights the last night before you get to drive away to sunny and warm old Florida. Of course now is when the temps here are getting warmer ;) I hope you have a wonderful time and say "Hi" to the mouse for me.

Well I miss the rest of you who haven't been here for a while. Come join us when you can and let us know how your Halloween went.

Ladies I am so sorry this has to be a quick drop in. I had posted the other night but it got lost in all the trouble the site was having. (boo hoo)

My grandson and family just left the house and I have a little over an hour to get the car packed and get ready for the trick or treaters. I need a breather.

My DD forgot that this was a half day of school so Dgs showed up 3 hours earlier than I was expecting and thru me off schedule THEN the 'other grandmother" decided that she might have time to see the grands tonight so she is coming to my house. Now this is a 'lady' who has hated me for years and treated me badly long before her son and my daughter ever met. She decided to file for divorce a couple of years ago and threw the whole family into a turmoil. Now, at family get togethers I am the only one she can sit with or talk to. I go along with it so the grands will get to see all their grandparents without a lot of fuss. Upshot of all this is that since she is going to be here all of her kids and other grandkids are coming here as well. I am a fairly friendly person and most of the time this would not phase me BUT tonight when I need my rest for the trip tomorrow is NOT a good time for all this. None of them will clean up after themselves so I will be cleaning the house AGAIN after they leave! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh*&^(*%^&

I will be thinking of you all on the 9th and will post a report as soon as I can when I return. Not sure when that might be. Just checked the budget and I have enough money to be gone 25 days but I don't think I will do that. We are supposed to check out on the 12th and I am thinking of swinging through Ohio on the way home to see some family. It was originally Cincy but may have to add Athens to it as I just got a brand spanking new great niece that I have not met yet. Would be coming back via Cincy instead of Columbus so I won't get to meet Helenabear and her DH. (sob) As frazzled as I will be it is probably for the best. My sister who lives in Columbus in out in the middle of the Caribbean right now with my sister from Clearwater. I pity the terrorist who would mess with them. My one sister is an ex MP. LOL

Please take care of each other while I am gone and do not wear the guys out as I will need some spoiling when I return too!

Your friend and EWP buddy, Slightly Goofy

Hi, I haven't read ANY posts, but wanted to check in. SG have fun, fun, fun, on your trip. All is well with me. I have been busy taking care of our new puppy, Jasmine, she's a maltese. If my cat will get used to her it will be a miracle. Medically speaking, we are still checking into everything with that. When I get more time, I'll read all posts and stay awhile. Kiddos went trick or treating they were very successful.

While I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers, special PD goes out to Jstmee and her medical problems and Rider in hopes that her relationship with her mother will continue to improve.

Everyone just left and I am getting the house straightened back up and getting ready to shut the comuter down for a well deserved rest.

See you all on the 9th.

Slightly Goofy

Hi Everyone!

Well, I'll bet that Slightly Goofy and her DH are already on their way to "the promised land" (as I call it!)! *SIGH* - wish that we were all there with her!

Glad to hear that you had a happy Halloween, Helenabear and Jstmee! I'm sure that it was a lot of fun! We had a bunch of cute trick-or-treaters last night! Some of the kids peeked into our house and saw our 2 black cats and said "Oh no! Black cats on Halloween!"

Speaking of pets, congratulations on your new puppy, Jstmee! I'm sure that your cat will come to know and love her! Maybe having her around will actually make your cat braver!

Well, we had our first real cat fight, last night - Laverne and Ashley (one of my cats and one of Frank's cats) - the 2 biggest females (weighing in at 18 pounds and 16 pounds, respectively) duked it out, last night - lots of screaming and rolling around on the floor. It was very unpleasant to listen to, although neither of them hurt the other - I think that they just scared eachother. In fact, Ashley was so scared that she peed all over the floor (LOVELY.). I think that this is just one of those "animal kingdom" things - the 2 largest females are trying to figure out which one is dominant. I'm sure that when they figure it out, they will calm down. I just hope that they figure it out soon!

How are you feeling, Jstmee? I hope that you are feeling well and that everything is all right.

How are you doing, today, Helenabear?

Hope that you're having a nice day! :) Back to work, now! :(

See ya later! :)

Hi there everyone! It is so nice to hear from everyone! I guess about now our dear friend SG is on her way down the the warmer part of the country. I hope she has a great time! Unfortunately I was unable to sneak in the car with her ;)

Jstmee, I hope you are enjoying your new puppy. We had a Lhasa Apso and he just adored the cats. It took a little adjustment on all parts but they really learned to love each other a lot! They were so cute and they liked to play and cuddle together. I am also glad that you are persuing your health concerns. I don't mess around with that since I lost my mother to cervical cancer and a lot of time was spent finding a good trusting doctor.

Rider, the cat fight sounds awful! I am glad that no one got hurt and I am sorry to say I had to chuckle when I heard that Ashley was so scared or upset that she peed on the floor. I shouldn't laugh but I can imagine what it was like. I am sure they will figure it out soon. I think once we moved, Cleo was able to take control over her house again. In the apartment she wasn't as comfortable I think and the kitten took more control than she wanted to give. Both are precious to me and both behave wonderfully now.

Speaking of precious baby stories, my little Gwen was choking this morning. She must have picked this up from "mom" as I tend to choke easily on food. The poor thing let me hold her, pat her back and rub her while she was finally able to breathe better again.

I feel so lazy. We are having a pot luck tomorrow at work and I am not going to cook anything for it. I am just going to my local grocery store and buying some fruit from the salad bar (ick) and bringing it in. I can't believe I am going to sink to this level but I guess I really don't have much time to do anything else tonight. Well I have a few things I should get back to now :( I hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Hello!

Don't worry about being "too lazy" to cook, Helenabear - I'm sure that whatever you bring will be great! And I never cooked at all (unless you count boiling and microwaving things!) until Frank moved in! I'm sure that your co-workers will appreciate anything that you would bring!

How is Gwen feeling? My cats (and I!) choke sometimes, too. I know - it's scary. Maybe it was a furball? I hope that she is feeling better, now!

Don't worry - I also laughed when Ashley peed all over the floor! I felt badly that she and Laverne were fighting, and listening to the screaming was actually worse than watching them roll around on the ground together. But at the same time, even though it was a pain to clean up, it was kinda funny that Laverne scared the "p_ _ _" out of Ashley! We kept our eyes on them last night, and although there was some hissing, there was no more physical contact. The others hiss at eachother, too......maybe it will be a few months before they finally calm down and establish their territories.

I wonder where SG is, right now! I'll bet that she's almost in Florida, if she's not there already!

I was reading a few threads that were talking about the Carousel of Progress closing. I was so disappointed to hear that! CoP was always one of my favorite attractions. I had a weird feeling that when we rode it in June, that might be the last time (since there have been so many rumors for the past 2 years about it closing). I really hope that it reopens when the economy is better. I would really miss it, and it's such a shame to close it during the 100 YOM celebration. By the way, Helenabear, if you're wondering why I didn't offer you any videotaped footage of CoP, that's because the first time I tried to tape it, I almost got THROWN OFF OF IT by the bratty CM in there. All right.....he DID say that no taping was allowed. But I have been on it a million times and seen people taping, so I thought "why not?" This year, I held my video camera in my lap and sort of tilted the lens over the seat in front of me (which was not occupied) and tried to tape it that way. You can sort of see the show.....but the footage is not good enough for me to offer to share it. Anyway, I whined to my friend who works down there and he said that he hadn't heard anything about it really closing permanently (his "home base" is the DMGM Studios), but he would look into it. I really hope that it will reopen!

How are you doing, Jstmee? How is everything working out with your new puppy and your cat, so far? How are you feeling? Hope that all is well!

Well, today marks exactly 7 months until our wedding! I ordered the invitations yesterday and the yamulkes (the skull caps worn during Jewish services - they'll have our names and the date of our wedding engraved inside) last week. And since it's 7 months until our wedding.....that means it's 7 months and 1 day till our honeymoon in WDW - yea! :)

Well, time to get to work! Hope that all is well with all of you and that you're having a nice day! :)

Just wanted to stop in and say "have a nice weekend", Eveyone!

I'm off to a baby shower "down the shore" (as we say in NJ), now! It should be very nice to drive down there, today - it's supposed to be another warm and sunny day! I can't get over this 70 degree weather that we've been having - I wish that it would last all winter!

Have a nice day, Everyone! :)

Just wanted to pop in, catch up and wish you all a great weekend EWP friends! :)
