After much debate, hours on the computer looking at airline prices, hotel prices, ticket prices, etc etc.. Heres what we came up with (and this might be good for you budget seekers):

Was cheaper to book 2 one ways with 2 different airlines then it was to go roundtrip (and I think the flight from Calgary-Denver is Air Canada too, and then United Denver - LAX)

Hotels
February 3rd - 5th
Crowne Plaza $54.00USD/Night + Tax (Hotwire)
February 5th - 7th
Wyndham Anaheim Park $64.00/Night + Tax (booked with a Corporate discount)

Car Rental
Enterprise Convertable (not sure what a convertable will be like in Feb, but what the heck)
$147.00 CAD Total Tax Included for the 4 days and few hours

Disney Tix
3 Day Park Hopper $119.00USD/Person from the local CAA (AAA).

Thats about it, we are pumped..

2 Happy Canadians going for a 5 day excursion to Disney..

Hope you have a fabulous time!! We LOVE Disneyland, and what better time to be there than for the 50th!!!

Sounds similar to our trip last year! We went in february, flew from calgary, through denver to orange county (WAY closer than LAX!) That's where the similarities end though. We stayed at the Anaheim plazza hotel (adequate for what we needed - bed & shower!) DIdn't rent a car, we walked everywhere or took a shuttle bus. We went for a total of 9 days. The first 4 days it rained 16" total, hopefully you get better weather! The next 5 days were gorgeous though. We even went swimming! So, here's hoping for no rain, lotsa sun and fun in a convertible!

PS: see if you can get into the Blue Bayou for a late evening drink/dessert. The caramel apple dessert is AMAZING!
