When I go onto the WDW Experience app, I can see the room reservation, but I cannot see the magic bands associated with it. My friend who made the reservation adjusted my band so that it's the color I want, but it doesn't show up underneath "My MagicBands and Cards" in My Account. I can see my 4 day hopper, which I got from a reseller but linked to my account. That is in card form. I can also see the fast-passes that my other friend set up for us, which I believe are connected to my ticket. And I can see my old magic band from my trip in June.

Can I just wait until I'm there and/or have the magic band in hand and have it all link up then?

That's actually normal. Until they customize and it ships, the band doesn't actually exist. Once they customize it the band with the id will appear in your mde (and no longer in your friends).

Quick question for anyone keeping track of this thread.

Have any fellow Canadians gotten Magicband 2.0's at resort check in time yet? I've heard they are still giving Canadians old bands at check in and i'm trying to figure out if i'll get mine or if i'll get the old ones. I really hope they stop giving the old ones out soon because I want the 2.0 so I can get a Magickeeper!

I saw a question like this asked several pages ago but didn't ever see it answered. Is there such a thing as bride and groom bands? I'm giving admission tickets to my nephew and his fiancé as a wedding present and am going to include magicbands.

At this time anyone that picks up their bands at the resorts (international and anyone that had disney ship to a disney resort) is still getting 1.0 bands. Nobody has reported in the last week or so and it might be different but for now, just assume your getting the old ones and plan around that.

The name is on the inside of the band correct? So if you use a the puck/mouse keeper option, your name is not visible?

Another MagicBand question for the oh so knowledgeable
I have ordered my AP Magic Band and when I customized on MDE a button appeared that said "Ship now" or something of the sort and that's how I placed the order.
Now that I'm trying to customize and order for the rest of my family for our June trip that option is not appearing. When I finish customizing it only says "Done" and gives me a countdown of how many days left I have to adjust my customization. Do I have to wait closer to our date to have them shipped to us? I don't remember from last time. I still have 11 additional bands to have shipped on TOP of these 7 so I wanted to get a head start as my AP MB took almost 18 days to get to me. TIA for anyone's help

the back is the icon and it's visible in the keeper when moved. the name is not on the band.

this is normal. AP bands ship when you request/customize them. Resort bands ship about 30 days before checkin (or about 1-4 days after the countdown ends).

For the new style it's on the inside of the icon from what I understand. I don't know what the keepers look like from the back or an open back, so I'm not sure if you would see the name. Hopefully someone who has one now that they're released can tell you.

Just wanted to share that the Emporium is stocking magic keepers as of earlier this week. They sell out quickly from what they told me, but I was able to get a Minnie Mouse one!

I gave in an ordered a Magic Keeper from eBay today. Arriving in 12 days and already have our magic band 2s, but don't want to worry about running around finding the Magic Keeper for my husband once we're there.

I wish Disney was selling them online already!

Post #732 of this thread actually has photos of the keepers and the backs are indeed open, so you should still be able to see your name on the back of the puck.
