Does anyone know if the magic bands sold on the Shop Disney Parks app are the link-it-later type? Since you give your MDE login I don't want it linked to my ticket.

Looking at the Puck/icon/disk/nugget whatever you want to call part of the MB 2.0, I'm tempted to pull it out of the band and superglue it to the back of my hand for the day. Or forehead, that could get interesting.

I vote for forehead -- post pics! :D

Anyone know if I bring my infant's band, will it pick up the ride photos and put them to my account? I want to take his and put it on a carabeaner, and attach it to me to pick up the ride photos so I can wear some of my old bands that I'm not sure have any battery power in them. I realize I could use my own new band, but I want to keep that as a band because I don't have a purple one yet, and I've heard it's a pain to move the icon around.

I'm not sure if this has been answered, but i have a question about paying for things with my magic band. I will be staying off property for my trip in a couple of weeks. Can i hook up my disney gift cards to my magic band and then pay for food and merchandise with my magic band, or is this feature exclusive to on-property guests.

Only guests of Disney resorts can charge using their Magic Band.

FWIW, I prefer using a gift card than a Magic Band for charging. With a Magic Band you need to use a pin code. With a gift card you just hand them the card and you're done. :)

If you haven't done so already, you can consolidate up to $1,000 in gift cards onto one card. Then you don't have to carry around a bunch of cards.

As said in the post above, only on property guests because you aren't actually paying with the magicband, you are actually charging to your room when you scan your band.

Magic keepers spotted. Not for sale at ttc or all of mk but are in contemporary. Cant confirm anywhere else but check the resorts.

EDIT TO ADD:

On the shelf they were located where the red was:

Comparing to d23 photos, the carabeener and the keychange are the same, it's easy to remove the carabeener and use it as a keychain.

They all come with screwdrivers as previously mentioned.

Price: $9.95 plus tax. Discounts can be used if the place your getting them excepts them.

Size reference

I saw a question like this asked several pages ago but didn't ever see it answered. Is there such a thing as bride and groom bands? I'm giving admission tickets to my nephew and his fiancé as a wedding present and am going to include magicbands.

Still waterproof in this casing I presume?

Love my MagicBand and use it any time I'm at WDW. I am now planning my first trip to Disneyland! Will my MagicBand work there? All the videos I have looked at show people getting FastPasses at a kiosk

Magicbands is specific to Walt Disney World, I don't believe it does anything. At aulani and some of the east coast non-theme park miniresorts can use them for room keys..

There are/were, but they were part of a Disney Wedding Package. Have a look on Magicbandcollectors.com. He's got all the bands that exist on there.
