from what I remember the vouchers say they exclude frozen drinks( used all of mine so do not have one to check!) although I believe a few have posted they were able to get a shake as a dessert at Beaches so as usual... it's who you get as to what they exclude but I wouldn't count on it

For reference,

I have the Green QC May 2005 expiration and the language regarding frozen drinks has been OMITTED.

This is the first column on the left side of the voucher (in english):

This dining certificate is valid during lunch or dinner during normal operating hours at a participating restaurant location located within the WDW Resort and includes your choice of one (1) of the following:

ONE (1) combo meal (entree, side dish and non-alcoholic beverage) and ONE (1) dessert

OR

ONE (1) entree, ONE (1) side dish (if not included with entree), ONE (1) dessert and ONE (1) single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage

This certificate is only valid at one of the participating locations listed on the back of this certificate.
Applicable tax and gratuities are included. Alcoholic beverages, souvenir drink mugs and room service are not included. Participating locations are subject to change without notice.

Not valid after May 31, 2005

I believe last year the voucher specifically stated no frozen drinks. This year they do not. It does say beverage so what constitutes a beverage? It may be open to interpretation.

it did exclude frozen drinks so evidently that is new...does it still exclude the kitchen sink? is anything else excluded? Thanks I haven't ordered them for our trip this fall yet but will be using them so thanks for the update

Does anyone know that if you cancel your hotwire membership within the first month, how long before you can sign up again (maybe a year)? just curious if they allow you to resign up after you have cancelled.

Thanks,

Pam

I think you can re-activate your membership within the first year, but without a free month membership. The free trial month is 1 per household per year. To reactivate, call them and give them your old membership number.

Maria395712 -- You can sell those unused vouchers on ebay or the Dis Auction. Since they expire in 30 days, I would list them at a "Buy It Now" price that is just high enough to get back your original cost + the auction fees/postage/etc. I bet they'll be snapped up immediately.

Good Luck!!!

Thanks the heavens for DIS boards. I had so much trouble trying to locate info regarding meal vouchers and finally I have found it all in a nutshell...WOOOO!

If I want to buy 4 adults and 2 child- Breakfast, How much is it via Hotwire and Connections?

Via Florida site, It was going to be $114 which is 8 dollars MORE than what I would have been spending on both breakfast.

Eatting @ disney w/o a voucher w/ tax and tip it would be $53.00 (106.00)
(I'm going to 2 breakfast while I'm there.)
VIA Florida site... $57.00(114.00)
PLUS the S&H (7.00)

Are the other ones this much too?

Hotwire Breakfast Vouchers are $18.25 adults and $11.00 child.

Your total would be $95.

I just ordered the same amount last week. :)

Breakfest feature vouchers via Hotwire
Adult=$18.25
Child=$11.00
No shipping charges

Some places it saves some (CRT for one) others it is about break even. The child ones are harder to save money with...

HTH

Can anyone tell me what sort of 'tip' is included with the breakfast and the VKL vouchers? How much more should I be leaving in cash???

Thank you all those that replied.

I want to know something that has nothing to do with the vouchers.

On my 2nd breakfast My in-laws are coming up (unfortunatly). We are going to be about 8 ppl. Can we request separate checks? and if so, will be have to pay a fee for that?

There shouldn't be a problem asking for separate checks. There's no extra fee but sometimes they automatically add a 15% tip to the bill for larger parties. Just take a good look at your receipt to make sure you don't tip twice.

When did connections change their refund policy, or start a no return policy? Did they also change their policy to allow people to sell their extra's?

I thought I had misread a couple of posts ago, when someone mentioned they couldnt return their vouchers. Then i logged on and saw that it had changed.

TIA

I ordered some vouchers today. How do they come, regular U.S. mail?

Thanks for all the great info here!

It reads:

Effective April 20, 2004, items purchased are non-refundable; they may not be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or check.

The actual vouchers state MAY NOT BE REDEEMED FOR CASH IN WHOLE OR IN PART and NONREFUNDABLE.

It does not state they are not transferable or cannot be sold. This is a Connection rule that most likely has to do with maintaining their relationship with WDW.

Can you use the vouchers at any of the downtown Disney restaurants? We were thinking of eating at Fulton's Crabhouse or Planet Hollywood.
