they did not say PC on them but they took them no problem and gave us an entree( shrimp lo mein for me, double burger/fries for hub) ,a side ...one of the items listed as a "side" at the stand closest to the baked goods,( i got salad, he got chili,) dessert (,both got twinkie tiramisu) and bev. (i got bottled water for later as we had the refillable mugs..)good deal. saved about $ 6-7 each and the food was good. another time we used 1 there and got lunch to take on the road with us.. sub, fruit cup and choc cake, water. split that on the way home ( sob sob) saved about $5 on that one

jann, Thank you sooo much!!! That is such a huge relief for me. I was really hoping that we all could have dinner at PC each night with these vouchers. You answered a question for me that no supervisor at Hotwire was able to answer. Thank you, again! :D :D

glad to help but if you are *really* grateful can you make room for us to go back with you ???:teeth: 10 days was just not long enough!!:( ( we really are hoping for another little trip in feb)

OK this is driving me nuts:hyper:

I have vouchers and for the life of me, I can't figure out what PC is! I have racked my brain, and I must know....PLEASE:earseek:

Thanks!

Emmy

**OK Never mind...It's Pop Century!! YAY! It only took me like 20 minutes:eek:

Sure jann! You can sleep in the room with... my mother!!!:teeth:

It's never long enough, when you love WDW. I hope you make it back in Feb. :D

Hi Emme! PC= Pop century. They have an "Everything Pop" (or something like that) food court, that is not listed on my vouchers.
I knew that I should be able to use them there, but the 1% chance that I couldn't was driving me nuts! ;)

After reading every post on this thread, I thought I had the vouchers figured out, but I was assuming that if a burger came with fries, then the fries were the side. Do you always get to pick an extra item, or does it vary by restaurant or CM?

very good question...I think it is how the CM or manager ( as was the case at rainforest cafe with the vkl voucher) interprets it...some places consider the fries the side, Pop Century didn't consider the fries a "side" but my meal didn't have a "side" and they only gave me one side, at tangerine cafe we got a platter with 2 sides on it and they gave us another side in addition! we just asked each place what we could get and they told us their version...I think some may consider what ever is on the plate as the "entree" (like PC and tangerine) .we still made out great with them though but may have just hit the right places.

except for a few like beaches and cream we would have definitly gone to them anyway since we went where we were at the time. B& C was great and we would go again but it was a short walk from epcot so we probably wouldn't have gone if we had not had the voucher to use to try it. the meal itself there( prime rib sub and our great server gave us half onion rings, half fries ) was a little small to split but the dessert was huge so we were filled with one voucher.

the only mistake we made with the vouchers imo was pepper market...the food was good and a great value but first a convention was checking in just as we got there and it was packed ,then we had to go to dtd or epcot to get back to pc and chose dtd...bad move since it took 20+ mins for the bus to arrive then an hr to just get out of the coronado springs lot( 2 wheel chairs were loaded and it is the internal bus ( which was news to us) so we stopped an stopped and stopped and had the most annoying driver that ever existed, not funny just acted like he was driving a bus load of kindergardeners...explained why you can't smoke on the bus in lenghty detail, why you need to hold on to the rails in lenghty detail ect ect ect plus sat by a screaming poopy baby.. the" trip from hades "we decided) so we got to pc almost 2 hrs after dinner since of course we had a long wait for the pc bus after the initial wait for the dtd bus...plus we had forgotten one of the vouchers and it was our last night. we used it for our lunch the next day but it just added to the pepper market "experience". just decided that was not worth the money saved but maybe another time would be better.

Can someone please answer a few questions? I belong to Connections but we're not going to Disney til December. What is the current expiration on the Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers and bkft vouchers? Also, please verify, is Coral Reef listed on the lunch voucher as I don't see it mentioned in the description in the first few posts of this thread?

Do you suppose Chef Mickey's bkft buffet will allow the bkft voucher on Christmas morning? I wonder because it is a special brunch and costs more than the typical buffet.

Thanks for any tips.

Help!

I would LOVE to do this...but am just now learning about it (THANK YOU for all the great information...this is a well put together thread ::yes::

Question1:
I joined Hotwire, but can't find where to get the vouchers! Help!

Question2:
See counter (:hyper: ) below. If I order these now...will I get them in time?

Thanks!

Question3:

I have two boys, 7 (turning 8 at WDW) and 9. I was thinking of getting one voucher for them to split at each meal. What say ye? Has anyone tried that?

are you looking under hotwiresavingsclub? That is where the vouchers are. It might be under travel or walt disney world..

if you order asap, you should get your vouchers in time. i got mine in less than 12 days

which vouchers are you talking about splitting and which restaurants? we used q and c at beaches and cream- 2 adults and 3 kids and we split 2 vouchers. we were too full to finish the sundaes. I don't know about other counter service places cause we never went there. You could always have them share one and just add on side items if they are still hungry.

Thanks for your help! I found it  and already placed my order. I hope they arrive soon...so I won't fret!

I ordered 2 for each meal...we will see how that works. Not sure we will always be able to make it without ordering an extra side, but youngest DS and I split meals a lot. With a dessert included...I think we will make it. Thanks for that advice...I was going to get 3 for each meal.

you can always get a double burger with the q/c and extra bun for under $1 if 1/2 a burger is not big enough ( although any place we went that had them, they were all at least as big as a quarter lb.er, maybe bigger...)we used 1 for 2 adults at 4 of the 5 the places we went and had plenty and could have split on the other meal but we wanted something different.

The current expiration date is May 2004, so don't order till well after that. They usually take 7 days by mail. All vouchers Q&C, KLV and BKFT all expire at the same time. I don't think Coral Reef is on them, but it is possible it'll be added for next year :hyper: .
Can't help on the last question...but call the resturant directly NOT CRO (they really don't seem to understand vouchers there  ) Chef Mickey's is very knowledgeable when it comes to vouchers.

We're going to WDW the first week of June, any ideas when vouchers with an expiration date later than 5/31/04 will be sold at Connections or Hotwire? Does anyone know when they started selling the 2004 exp vouchers last year? Thanks for any info!

Anyone know where i can buy them from the uk apart from ebay?

They seem to cost a bit more off ebay but if i can't find anywhere else to get them i may go ahead anyway, just for the convenience of being able to pay beforehand, (instead of the money burning a hole in my pocket!;) ) Staying onsite for two weeks with no car means we'll be spending quite a bit in the disney restaurants, so any ideas where to get them in the UK would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
