Anyone know where i can buy them from the uk apart from ebay?

They seem to cost a bit more off ebay but if i can't find anywhere else to get them i may go ahead anyway, just for the convenience of being able to pay beforehand, (instead of the money burning a hole in my pocket!;) ) Staying onsite for two weeks with no car means we'll be spending quite a bit in the disney restaurants, so any ideas where to get them in the UK would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

do not know if it is a problem with actually buying them outside the US or shipping to outside the US but can you buy them and if they don't ship outside the US have them shipped to the resort you are staying in? I had a pair of eyeglasses and cirque tickets shipped to 2 different disney resorts, no problem

No Jann & Korbs,

They will not ship to resorts or anywhere outside the U.S.
I live in Canada and I tried "everywhich way" (6 different trys) to get them.
1) the credit card billing address & name must be excatly the same as the card name and the shipping address.
2) It also must be a US issued credit card. My AMEX card wasn't enough.

They don't even process the order if those things aren't there.

Sorry :( ,
I finally had a US friend sign up, charge them to her CC, have them shipped to her and then I paid her and she mailed them to me.

sorry I should have known that as my daughter's shipment was held up since her shipping and card address didn't match ( big duhh for me!) glad you figured out away to get them anyway!

I ordered them on 1/25 and they came Airborne Express today (1/30). Glad I didn't have to sweat it out ;)

FYI: my vouchers do have 'Everything Pop Food Court' at PC listed

do they still have the May 2004 expiration date on them?..I want to rejoin so I can start ordering for our Nov trip ( but obviously need a later expiration date) Thanks!

Jann~
Yes, my vouchers have an expiration date of May 31, 2004.

I have done a lot of research to get the best value for my buck. I bought enough vouchers to get me through the places that I thought were a good value. I am leaving next week and wanted to print out a copy of the menu to take with me and guess what...a few of the places I was looking to go changed their menu.
Example-- we were going to the Sassagoula Floatworks because we could get a pot roast or BBQ ribs for dinner for 9.99
Now they serve pizza. Not only did they change the menu but the name of the restaurant also.
Also the voucher states that it is good for one non alcoholic beverage...would milkshakes be that kind of beverage?

jThe vouchers we have used in the past did not allow any beverages that were "frozen" or "alcoholic". Check the fine print and see how it's worded. Usually a milkshake would be considered a frozen drink but even so, try it anyway. All they can do is say "no". I think there are several times when it just depends on the mood of the CM that is doing the serving! Good luck...

We will be in the World Showcase for lunch one day...We have usually done a sit down there. Anyone know a good deal with the vouchers?

LeCellier was a good deal with the vkl vouchers...we saved about $10 there per voucher ( salmon patties , fresh salmon chunks in a mashed potato pattie, were fantastic as was choc. bread pudding, don't let the tarragon ice cream scare you, it was very mild flavored)

mostly we ate one small thing from each country otherwise so didn't use vouchers for that except at tangerine cafe which was a good deal with the q/c with more than enough food to split a meal between 2 hungry adults.

Are there two different breakfast vouchers? Last trip we bought the bkft vouchers and used them at Crystal Palace. I saw some for sale on ebay and no restaurants in MK or Epcot are included, yet resort character meals are included. Is this a new voucher or sold by someone else or is this the type of voucher people are getting with those 10 day passes and just selling them on ebay??

didnt see the ebay one but I know florida orlando tickets had 2, one for about$14 that did not include character breakfasts and one for around $21 that was for character breakfasts, obviously both way over priced

but WHERE are the vouchers on hot wire??? tia

I'm so glad you asked this! I had the same problem  It's actually Hotwire's Savings Club at http://www.hotwiresavingsclub.com/hsc/index.asp
and I could not find a link to it from there main site. I have ordered vouchers for my upcoming trip (and movie tickets twice : ) My orders have come within a week.

Holy Cow, you're leaving in one day and 10 hours??? That's so cool. I hope the birthday is fantastic. I love the WL's lobby (that's all I've seen as we are 5 and the rooms there are for 4)!

Can't wait to hear how the vouchers work out for you.

I'm excited about trying the vouchers. I will try to report when I get back. I'm not as good as some of you

I was so excited to see all this info on vouchers. We did a Visa Disney package and so our tickets and room were already taken care of. I liked the deals and the fact that our food would basically be paid for. I ordered the vouchers from Hotwire. I got them in no time and started to use them two days after we arrived. (January 21st)

I was so impressed with Beaches and Cream. They didn't even charge us for an extra bun! I never had a problem with the higher end places. The Pepper Market actually gave us an extra dessert for free! I saw the HUGE bricks of Rice Crispie treats at the register. I turned to my dh and told him we should have gotten that as a dessert so the kids could have it at the park later. The cashier handed it to me and told us to enjoy our stay!!!

We stayed at the movie resort and they were less than friendly about the voucher use. I asked if I coudl order a large pizza and nothing else...nope....that was fine since it did not fall within the parameters of the voucher. Another night I asked if we could get dessert later and they said we had to get it then and there. Well, by the time our dessert was made, our hot meal was now cold! We had ordered London Broil medium rare. We had to nuke it and it was then well done!

Anyway, I had vouchers for lunches and dinners and even two character breakfasts but I did not have any for regular breakfasts. I did have a couple of restaurant.com certificates but nothing major. It was only then that I realized how to get my breakfast! They have HUGE muiffins at the Pepper Market. DH and I ordered muffins for our dessert each time. They have wonderful chocolate chip and blueberry muffins. They still tasted fresh the next morning and they made a great way to start off the day. Honestly, the Pepper Market gives you so much food that you do not need dessert anyway. We had our mugs from the movie resort and so we would have free beverages every morning. We managed to stretch that voucher money to cover supper and breakfast! IMO, this makes them an even better deal. If you don't like muffins, a lot of the places have fresh fruit.

Anyway, maybe I just glanced over this info, but I did not note anyone mentioning this before. This is a budget board and I could not wait to get back here to share this info with you folks. HTH someone.

Christina

I joined hotwire today, and noticed that the vouchers are 11.50 and the breakfast ones are 18.25,does anyone know if these are the new ones?

Also does anyone know if you can leave epcot showcase and go to beaches and cream for lunch/dinner by using the boat launch?

alcoromom, Welcome to the Dis!!
I have no idea if the new pricing indicates new expiration dates.
You can take the boat at the International Gateway to the YC/BC, but it is much easier and quicker to just walk over to the Beach Club from the International Gateway. It's a very short and pleasant walk. :D

unless you just feel like riding the boat it is longer than walking as beach/yacht club is the second stop plus the dock is pretty far from the rest. it took us about 5 mins to get to epcot and probably 15 on the boat and walk from the dock.

you can call hotwire customer service since you already joined....they were nice every time I called but if they ARE the new expiration dates could you please post that as I am waiting to start buying them for our Nov trip till they come out. Thanks
