1. Good things come to those who wait.

2. Sometimes, things don't go as planned, but it's important to make the best of the moments we're given.

3. Someday - sooner than we'd like - we may never be able to do something like this again.

4. When you're feeling sorry for yourself, just look around and you'll certainly see people who would trade spots with you in a heartbeat.

5. Slow and steady wins the race.

6. If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail.

7. Being nice to workers just trying to do their jobs is not only the right thing to do, it makes you feel good.

8. Everyone is shouldering their own burdens. Give them some space.

9. Sometimes it's OK to take chances and try new things.

10. Early birds get the worms.

11. It's only money.

12. Living happiness through the eyes of others, such as your children and family, is more important and longer lasting than your own happiness.

13. All good things must come to an end.

14. Sometimes, it's important to put down the phone, camera, iPad or whatever, and enjoy the moment.

15. The rules apply to everyone, including you. Following the rules shows respect to your fellow travelers.

16. And no flash photography means "no flash photography!"

17. Sometimes people's behaviors are the result of their own cultural upbringing and acceptable standards where they're from. Sometimes they're just rude. When in doubt, assume the former is the reason.

18. Usually, someone needs that seat more than you.

19. It really is a small world, after all.

Feel free to add your own. :)

11. And 14.

11. It's only money!! We worry about so much in regards to this and we forget to live!!! What's the point of having any if you are just going to sit and do nothing. I try hard not to worry about this!!!

And 14. I feel like I live behind the camera at Disney. This last trip I stopped. I left the phone and camera in the room on some days we were there and man it's amazing what you don't see.

And I don't know if you had this so I'm sorry if I'm repeating but...

Live in the Moment!!!!!

You can't imagine how many people rush through vacation to only have pictures and not enough hard pressed memories. Stop and stare!! I usually stop on my last day in MK and look back an just take in the castle one last time but my family was such in a rush to get back to the hotel for one last swim that I forgot. So sad. But blessed that I will be able to go back in a couple years. Some people don't have this.

It is important to keep your hands, feet, ears, arms, and legs inside the vehicle at all times.

Remain seated until the ride comes to a complete stop.

Sometimes you need to be the one sprinkling the pixie dust.

Just thought of another:

Your children are always watching you. They learn 100x more about life by what they see you do, instead of what you tell them to do.

Stop an smell the roses. Life is good (or not all that bad)- especially if you are at WDW!

41. Fill the car gas tank before you leave.
42. Have the kids relieve their tank before you leave.
63. Per Randy Newman, [to ride] short people they wear platform shoes.
82. Corporate Greed Is Good.
83. Sometimes it does rain on your parade.
92. Ice Cream ALWAYS beats packaged baby carrots.
95. The line you choose moves slower than the one you didn't choose.

This is tremendous. I can't tell you the amount of people I saw glued to their mobile devices when I visited a couple of weeks ago. My wife and I commented that while Disney is certainly encouraging their use with the wait time applications, Fastpass+, etc it would be nice to see parents actually interact with their children.

It would also be nice if people could stop walking while they are staring at their mobile device so they don't run you over.

Like a previous poster, the last trip we took I left the movie camera at home for the first time and we relied on Photopass for most of our pictures. I cannot agree more that I missed so much on our previous visits because I was using one camera or another.

GREAT LIST!!!

The words 'Excuse Me' and 'Sorry' go along way!!

- I understand that I am going to get hit with a stroller or bumped into but these few words (or even just an acknowledgement that you did it) can go a long way.
