1. Good things come to those who wait.
2. Sometimes, things don't go as planned, but it's important to make the best of the moments we're given.
3. Someday - sooner than we'd like - we may never be able to do something like this again.
4. When you're feeling sorry for yourself, just look around and you'll certainly see people who would trade spots with you in a heartbeat.
5. Slow and steady wins the race.
6. If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail.
7. Being nice to workers just trying to do their jobs is not only the right thing to do, it makes you feel good.
8. Everyone is shouldering their own burdens. Give them some space.
9. Sometimes it's OK to take chances and try new things.
10. Early birds get the worms.

12. Living happiness through the eyes of others, such as your children and family, is more important and longer lasting than your own happiness.
