Sooo.. we are a week back from our 8 day stay at PO FQ.. this trip almost didnt happen a few times. Basically, we have been paying down the BIG ONE in the fall for my sons 5th (we have a tradition of taking everyone when they turn 5) ..
We decided about 2 months ago we could squeak out a little bonus in May..
Financially, got alot going on, maybe wasnt the wisest choice. I actually had a feeling in my stomach like I shouldnt be going.. thought about canceling and just saving the cash a few times, actually did the QUICK SERVICE plan this time , told kids 1 SOUVENIER AND WE ARE STICKING TO IT!!
HOWEVER, all that changed when we got there.. as soon as we arrived at the french quarter and the same clown was outside to great us and there was a big mickey head drawn on the ground with water and i got hit with the smells of disney.. any worry faded away..
when we got there we walked along the sassagoula river down the riverside and rented a pontoon boat and droved down to dtd (tradition for our family) .. i felt so good!
I realized, we needed this trip.. my family needed this. I needed this mental escape and whatever bills were waiting at my house and whatever business stuff was going on didnt matter.. we were in Disney!
We had the time of our life as always , as many trips as we go , every trip is special..
Disney is really my constant, no matter whats went on in my life , no matter where ive been living or what changes ive been going through, Disney is the one thing that is always there and never changes ( well , it does change, but you know what i mean! Its always waiting for me there ! I took a pic of all 5 kids at the castle on the first day at MK and sent it out in a text to my family and friends and said "we're home

and ive come back to reality a little more mentally relaxed and prepared to deal with lies ahead and to countdown to my next trip!
