Everest - Last Sat

Oh my. My son and I must have ridden at least a dozen times in February. I loved the ride but could never, ever walk down stairs from the top! Ugh. I can hardly breathe thinking about it.

my palms are sweating just reading these posts. No way in "H" double hockey sticks would I get out and walk down at that height. Nuh uh.

Here's another pic of the same thing -
We were literally next in line and all I kept thinking was that I was so happy it wasn't us. I am with the group that can't imagine coming down the stairs from that height. There is a handrail, but the stairs seem pretty open.

We were there in December and got stuck right where the tracks end before falling backwards. We were there a good five minutes. It was pretty scary.:scared1:And so were the bees that were flying around us.

I've walked down those steps before from the top of the mountain. You can see all of WDW property from up there.. it's quite breathtaking. Yes, it's very high, and the handrail doesn't help with the nerves at all! But it's definitely worth it... and I went really early before the park opened so it was eerily quiet. I wish I had taken pictures!
