Ever Stayed At Howard Johnsons?

HoJo's maingate is so cheap. $30 rooms and kids eat free. That sure would free up a lot of spend money- but is it worth it? I've stayed at Contemporary, Coronado, ASMovies and Holiday Inn Nikki Bird. Am deciding between ASMovies or HoJo's for December 2004. Any input would be appreciated.

ASMO. Take it from someone who was attacked outside of the HOJO because of the lack of security. No way in hell I will stay off Disney property again.

It looks like people are getting the Holiday Inn in Downtown Diseny for $35 on hotwire.com. Not sure if the dates you need would be released yet though.

I've stayed at the Days Inn, which is in the same area.
It will be fine if you realize that these are older hotels that aren't really any better than a Motel 6.

Like I said... if you go into it knowing what you are getting, these places are fine.
