Ever sell an add-on by yourself (no broker)?

I have an add-on contract that I am thinking of selling on my own. Has anyone ever done this without a broker? If so, is there a certain way to proceed? Anyone with ideas (not in any real hurry to sell but just don't need all the points). Don't really want to pay all the fees if we don't really need to. Thanks.

I'm buying a a HH FSBO resale I found on this site:

We're using timesharetransfer.com to handle the closing. They are the cheapest I know of. They'll prepare the Deed for the seller's execution, provide an escrow service, send the Deed for recording and notify Disney of the transfer.

The cost is $250, and thet includes $50 towards recording. But it is definitely a no frills operation. The seller has to handle all the ROFR with Disney and they don't overnight the documents to you or provide a return overnight slip.

I'm currently selling one contract privately which was going through TT but DVC has decided to exercise their ROFR. I have also sold an add on contract privately with all transactions being done either by the buyer or myself. It was just as easy as using a broker, IMO.

When you did your private transaction, how did you notify Disney for their ROFR? i.e. Is there a special form or procedure?

I have a buyer for one of my contracts and I would like to avoid a realtor commission if I do not have to.

In this one, TT did it but I've done it previously. It's very easy. Just get a signed contract that spells out specifics and fax or mail to DVC member admin. No big deal.
