Ever lose a pin....

in your OWN house?????

I KNEW I had the full set of Tapestry of Nations pins from 2000. But on my display towel I was missing one. I spent most of my October 2000 WDW vacation in pursuit of getting them all...actually found the last one as we were leaving AS Sports (to go to the airport) at a pin display outside! It was the lone pin that was not on any carts in other WDW areas.

ANYWAY........felt like I must be losing my mind (again!). Gave up looking for it. But you guessed it....I found it......ashamed to say where......

I was cleaning out the old video cabinet upstairs (our most viewed videos are kept in the TV armoire) and sitting there on an empty shelf was that darn pin. It looked at me so innocently like "What? I was here the whole time!" I gave it a talking to, and hung it on the towel and said "Don't EVER do that again!"

Lynnie, your note made me laugh ! I have the opposite problem right now. I just got back from WDW & have piles of pin all around the computer - my keepers that I bought, my keepers that I traded for; my new & old traders; the pins I bought today at TDS - like I need more pins ! Glad you found your missing baby ... oops I mean pin!

Know the feeling. My Disney Auction Ebay DQ cow mosied off. It is here in the house SOMEWHERE! And my house is pretty darn clean right now. I'm bound to find it! That's what I get for putting stuff away!
One thing I hav elearned is that when I lose something and I stop looking for it. Then I will find it!
