This is too funny! Is your husband related to mine? :rotfl2: Although, now that we are SOOOO close to the trip, he, too, is getting a little excited. He has jumped on the bandwagon. :cheer2:

I'm new here and the information that I have gotten from this site every night is just the greatest. I think it's weird if you don't get the pre-disney belly bugs. The day after the suitcases were unpacked I was online checking out prices for our next vacation. We aren't leaving until January and I am panicked that we won't have enough time to eat in our connecting city Denver!! We only have 50 minutes does anyone know if there are any quick restaurants near the united gate?

Welcome to the board! I'm also fairly new myself (just joined late last week) after lurking around for a bit. Got a lot of information to help me and my DH out with planning. Everyone has been really helpful when I have questions.

You are right that it's weird if you don't get excited. Although, I'm more excited about this than my DH :) Might be because I've been there on three previous occasions and can't wait to get back.

DH only goes down for an annual October business conference at the Swan & Dolphin. He has never really taken in Disney because he never has that much time. Two years ago, however, he was able to go to Epcot and enjoy the International Wine & Food Festival. He loved being able to talk to the guy from Spain. The guy was shocked because my DH spoke to him in the same Spanish dialect (DH's mother is from Spain and the same region as the guy he was talking to).

30 days before DH goes down :cool1:
34 days before Me and DS4 follows down :woohoo:

:cheer2: I know what you're talking about. I have been searching web sights for any info. I can get my hands on. I'm constantly printing things up on the computer. Planning my itinerary at work. I'm glad to find that I'm not alone. We leave in just 2 days, I really can't believe it is almost here. Good luck to you and I hope you have a great trip. :yay:

I am crazy excited about our trip, my 4year old is starting to tell me to chillout!

I seriosuly think my DH is worrying about me. I log onto DIS about 10 times a day, memorised my planning DVD, watch ride vids on You Tube, watch the celebration DVDs... oh god, I'm starting to worry about MYSELF now too!!

I'm at the point that I'm so OCD about the trip that my KIDS aren't even as excited as I am. Right when we booked it we were counting the days - every night at bed we'd say "only xx more days once we get up tomorrow!" Well we started to forget in the rush of showers, homework & the bedtime routine - so last night I said "Only 72 more days!" and BOTH DSs said "for what?" ACK! :furious: My heart was broken! Time to start piping the AKL park music loop throught the whole house, the car, etc. If anyone hasn't dowloaded all the park music yet, it is INCREDIBLE. It's somewhere on the Theme Park Attractions & Strategies forum. It makes you feel like you're there right then & there!

:rotfl: My 4 year old is just the opposite! He would whine that he wants to go now, so I'm not telling him until the morning we leave. I just scheduled a Disney Enchanted Call from Mickey Mouse for that morning :thumbsup2 Can't wait to see his face when he hears Mickey :wizard:

Had to smile reading the previous post... My 8 yr old DS has been five times since 2002. He is just now... only a week away... getting excited. His enthusiasm...or lack thereof, was disappointing. However, as we get closer to the actual trip, he is gaining momentum. I have said for the past five months of planning that I think I am more excited than the kids. I am. :bounce: I am already trying to figure out the financial and school time missed dynamics for our next trip... maybe December but if not definitely February! It is an obsession. I was in the grocery store the other day and a woman had on lime green tennis shoes... I so wanted to stop her and ask where she bought them... I followed her briefly through the store then lost the nerve. :rotfl2:

I am not leaving on vacation soon, and I live 30 minutes from WDW, but I am sitting here all happy & excited, because DD9 and are headed to MK this afternoon MNSSHP. I am such a KID! We have matching shirts to wear - I may even let someone take MY picture, and we are hoping to meet two Dis folks this evening ryanally who is flying from my home town in PA, and Johanna - (can't remember the numbers after her name) who is a CP and will be working the party tonight!

DD gets out of school at 2:20, I will pick her up, run back to the house to change and grab a snack and then we are off! I even scheduled an Enchanted Call for her to her cell phone in the car to encourage her about something she has been working very had on this week!

We are also excitedly anticipating 10/12 when we will go to MNSSHP again, but that night we are eating at LTT & spending the night at the Poly!

Even living close - at least for us - the MAGIC does not wear off!

I never new there were people who felt any way but the way you are describing. My sister, mother and I who are leaving in 8 days keep calling each other and talking about how excited we are!

Note from Maleficent's DH: Gee, that doesn't really convey DW's obsession! Yes, they talk frequently (hourly), and plan like crazy. She handles the problem of letdown after the end of one WDW vacation by PLANNING THE NEXT ONE! (this actually works quite well). This year is the craziest ever as DW is making 4 (maybe 5?) trips to Florida in just 12 months! Is the Evil Sorceress spoiled?

PS. Typically, DW and DD will stay up ALL night before our trip with excitement, last-minute packing, etc.

Lucky you! Send us all some pics of MNSSHP!!! Where in PA are you from? I'm a PA girl myself & am heading to the World in December. My in-laws are moving to Orlando next year - how great is that! (I will still stay in a Disney Resort however!)

Me too! He just shakes his head and smiles when I bring up park decorations, ride closures, and restaurant menus. He knew what he was getting into when he married me 15 years ago--I had all Disney babies in our 1st DD nursery and baby shower, and put a bunch of my old Disneyland pictures in baby-safe photo albums for both my girls to look through (and chew on) from the time they were a year old. I am perpetually planning a Disney trip for every year and I still freak out the week before with the planning and packing, and still get butterflies the night before! I'm on this site everyday combing the threads for info and have a planner with restaurant menus and reservations. We have 13 days to go...I can't wait!

Oh geez, I am just now realizing that there isn't a room in my house (other than the bathroom) that doesn't have a Disney photo of some sort of my family. Is there some sort of support group? :scratchin

I get like this EVERY time...I am freaking out and instead of the "I'm too excited to sleep" I have just vowed not to even try! LOL...WOOOHOOO 2 more days!

Good for you, taking those girls to WDW You are a very special person.
