Ever get a PIN when you already are booked?

If we make a reservation, does this lessen our chances of getting a discount of some sort? Seems like it would. Anyone experience getting a PIN or code sent to them after they've booked or tried calling and had one attached to their name after they have a reservation in place?

I did.

I booked last August for this August, and got a PIN code in January.

We booked in November for a trip this August, and my DH just got a pin code in an email after I ordered the planning dvd in his name. They applied it and we got 30% off!! We were jumping for joy!!! Good luck to you on getting one too.

I received a PIN the first time I booked. I had just made my room only ressies and I had a PIN offering me to upgrade to a 1 bedroom villa at SS or OKW for free! I was told I received the offer after I booked because they were trying to make room at the value resorts because they expected the resorts to be near capacity. Needless to say, I upgraded! I must have hit the disney lotto that year! LOL

I booked in February for this August, and just got a 20% off PIN in the mail yesterday. It only saved me $146 over what I was already paying (since I had a AAA discount), but I'll take it!
