Ever done a fishing excursion?

I booked one to pick up my DH and DS's at the boardwalk. I just wonder what it's like and if you recommend it. Do they have any snacks, beverages on board?

We did the bass fishing trip from Ft. Wilderness. It was a great experience, very enjoyable and memorable. I don't remember about snacks but there were various sodas and juice on board. Have fun

I have been on one and I had a wonderful time.

Several years ago, The DIS had a convention in December and one of the moderators had a DIS fishing meet from the Boardwalk.

There were no refreshments provided, but this was several years ago.

Since you are leaving the Boardwalk, there are several restaurants and a bakery and a convenience store on the Boardwalk that you could pick up something to drink and snack on or just eat before the fishing trip.

I am terrible at remembering names.

But we left the Boardwalk with four other DISers and toured the whole lake. We then when inside the Epcot area and did most of our fishing there.

It was awesome to see Epcot so emptry, early in the morning, before the park opened.

Our boat guide took us everywhere around the lake in Epcot.

And, of course, all fishing gear is provided by the boat captain.

I can't stand it when I can't remember names. I know Dumbo's husband was supposed to go. The DIS host and moderator has a "Sully" character type signature.

I give up.

But you will have a wonderful time.
