Ever Celebrated at HDD?

We are celebrating my parent's 40th wedding anniversary this summer at WDW. They are taking the entire family of 15! Yes, they are the best!

I am in charge of making the PS's so I need to decide which meal would be the best to let the CM know that we want to celebrate the occassion and maybe order a cake. I would like to do it at Hoop Dee Doo, but was unsure if it was possible given the nature of a dinner show. Has anyone celebrated an occassion at HDD?

Ohana's
Ahkersus (my #35 birthday though -I want the cake )
CRT for lunch I hope!

We went to HDD on our honeymoon. I'm not sure if the cake is a possibility (after all, they do serve dessert with the meal) but it is a fun place to celebrate at. They had my dh and I stand up and bow and then dance with each other by our table. Everyone celebrating anniversaries also danced when we did. Same thing at Spirit of Aloha too.

We will be celebrating my dd's 13th b-day there in Oct '06. There will be another b-day girl with her. Hoping we will be able to do a cake also. I really don't like the strawberry shortcake.

Another idea is the Luau at the Poly. They have all the newlyweds go up and anyone celebrating an anniversary. They also take a poll to see who's been married the longest. And then all the couples dance on stage.

We went for our honeymoon, so I don't remember exactly, but that is the general idea.
