One was built two miles from our house two months ago, and It's been my "cheat" every since... anyone else have one? I LOVE the Chicken Critters... yum! Wondering if this one is just really good or they are all good.

We go to one about an hour from here. I love it. It is my current favorite.Their rolls are just too good, the butter that goes with them doesn't hurt...sweet & tasty.
Smiles,
Diane =0)

DS love em cause he can throw peanut shells on the floor.
I love the rolls amd the iced tea.

I Love Texas Roadhouse..problem here is there is ALWAYS a wait...usually more than 1 hour :earseek:

I've never even heard of them . But I think I'm glad if they name their selections things like Chicken Critters :earseek:.

We vacation in East Tennessee every other year (alternate with WDW) and there is one around Dollywood that just went up over the past 4 years. We LOVE it. Reminds us of the old Ground Rounds when you could throw your peanut shells on the floor and the steaks were juicy and tender.
Being from northern Illinois, I don't get the "real" sweet tea unless I visit south, so I load up on that as well.
Very good food and friendly and attentive service. Hope it stays that way.
We're due for a visit in 2005
WDW ON JUNE 24:wave: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

They are building one in our area at the present time, hope it will be opened by Fall, never ate in one. My Aunt raves about them!

Since we moved to Florida it has been our favorite restaurant. The smothered chicken is very good.

we love Texas Roadhouse. They are so popular here that for charity events, they will sell front of the line passes. I have seen them sell for several hundred dollars. There house salad is good, the side kicker of ribs is good too. I use to love the road kill, but lately its been too salty ( I think its me since we have cut down on salt). You will really enjoy it!

We have a couple of them within a few minutes drive of here. Too much good stuff on the menu to even think of picking a favorite.

Ours has call ahead seating. Kind of like their version of Fastpass :teeth: You might want to inquire if your local TRH has it as well.

Girl what are you talking about? Of course you've had to of at least seen them! Here is the link. Look at the sign and I bet you've seen at least one or two here in DFW.

We've had one here for a few years. I too love the rolls and cinamon butter. It isn't gourmet but if you want something better then fastfood but nothing fancy, it hits the spot.

Never been there; I've heard it's good but am hesitant because the one here blows peanut dust around (supposed to be sawdust I guess) and one of our good friends can't go due to allergy. I guess I understand that they do it for ambience but it makes me mad because it seems pointless.

Maybe we'll go one day and just not tell our friend we went.

I love the Texas Roadhouse. I go for the peanuts and the rolls. The rolls with the butter is so good. They are all over Colorado.

We have one just a few miles from us & we're regulars there. We use the call ahead seating & it works well.

The cinnamon butter is awesome. They sell it to go during the holidays, so we always buy some for Christmas & Thanksgiving.

Their loaded sweet potato is pretty darn good, too - butter, caramel sauce & marshmallows. Yum!

OK, now I know where we're going to dinner tomorrow night.

One just opened 2 miles from our house. I emailed the manager and they invited us to the "soft" opening for a free meal :D

We really like the food and the ribs are great. My only complaint is that it is 95% booths, so it is a little difficult with the kids who seem to work better with a table and chairs.

Ours doesn't blow peanut dust around but it looks that way. You are encouraged to throw your peanut shells on the floor so they don't need to blow any around.

Our favorite place to eat. The Mushroom jack chicken sandwich is very good too.
