Events at the end of September?

Hey all,

We've been working to plan a last minute trip over the last weekend in September since mid August. It feels like availability is really bad, especially on Saturday the 27th for both hotels and ADRs. I've tried searching for any big events, but haven't found anything. Does anyone know if something special is happening that weekend that we should be aware of?

Not sure, but we will be at Epcot on 9/26. Maybe it's people trying to do the last September MNSSHP?

I think weekends are just busy between the halloween parties and food and wine.

We'll also be there that last weekend. Fortunately, we're planning to make the weekend a mostly "resort only".

I'm scheduled that week, too. I was surprised crowd calendars were 6 and 7's. Expected it to be much lighter. Well, we'll see---it's still better than being at work!!!

Not really - the pattern for the tropics is pretty consistent at the moment, and most of the modeling shows minimal impact to the eastern seaboard if any. If the first area of observation were to display more southerly or westward wobble, it might be disruptive, but seems unlikely given the northeasterly flow going across Florida from the gulf. Worse comes to worse, I'd just expect to be a little wet.
